Picked-up by ATLUTD!

Former TFC player.
Even then seemed to represent an old version of MLS.
Managed to last until now!

Whoa!
After the Kevin Payne story, I am hoping TFC bad news doesn't come in threes.
Seems Tsubasa Endoh has been diagnosed with Acute Luekemia; already receiving chemotherapy treatments.
Seems Chris Mavinga confirms.

^Oh man. Tsubasa is my kind of player, positive attitude , fighter, always making the most of his abilities. Feeling this one.
Praying for him.
“What the world needs is more geniuses with humility; there are so few of us left.”
Sounds about right.
Perhaps participate in a few games next season if they do return to SerieA; to then have a retirement befitting.
They are currently 'in the race' for promotion to SerieA after suffering relegation this past season.
Not sure about the coaching; though logical and in keeping with some previous inferences and personal statements made by Mimmo.
Have yet to come across any such directly related/recent statements involving this specific move/return.
BTW, a move, his 'retirement', that likely did a budget/financial solid for TFC.
Did not get along at all with former coach Alexander Blessin.
Seems their newly appointed coach, former SerieA striker and Genoa player Alberto Gilardino is more receptive of him.
Oddly, there may be a connect between Mimmo and Alberto via Fede; who (as a youth) for a time was at Fiorentina with Alberto ( a senior).
Envision Mimmo working on his badges, gaining experience with Genoa youth program; even as an assistant to Alberto.
Certainly, he would also be well positioned to get some international exposure if he so chooses.
Genoa organization's parent company, 777 Partners, is very interesting in this matter; a player.
Apparently own or hold significant interest in an array of other world leagues football clubs...
Melbourne Victory/Australia, Standard Liege/Belgium, Vasco De Gama/Brazil, Red Star/France and Sevilla/Spain.

^That is interesting. Ronaldo will not be standalone thing, for sure.
Only thing is, nobody knows who Pozo is over there.
Seems to me Messi and all the other big names will follow CR there. I mean, this kind of money is insane.

More money than sense.
Mavinga to LAG.
According to Neil Davidson...
A 2 year contract.
Made circa US $1,037,500 last season with TFC.
Does anyone have a confirmation reference as to his supposed LAG salary?

Tsubasa Endoh update...
Almost finished first round of treatment?
Thumb up. Smiling; in good spirit.
Great to know.

I'm watching the USMNT coaching situation from afar. Remember when we had discussions a few years ago about Greg Vanney being the next USMT coach and the one who would lead them into the 2026 World Cup? What would you put his chances of that now? I'd say about 0%.

I think Eric Giacometti performs his job well. Maybe a dis? Probably a decision on higher instruction. Don't want to kick the hornet's nest, open Pandora's box or a can of worms. Perhaps some self-preservation third rail reasoning. Seems to me this 'oversight' is a subtle indication or message to TFC Seba Fanatics to get over, let go of, the situation; as I have. Suspect TFC does not want to trigger, fuel the flames or stir any pot of false hope on the matter any longer. Again, time to move on...

Prefer this does not devolve into some defense of or case pleading for Giovinco's return. Even more irksome, some sort of comparison between the Bradley and Giovinco situations on another thread; which would be entertaining though. My simple ask is if Molinario's information/stats are correct? He suggests in the last three calendar? years... Y22, Y21, Y20... Giovinco has 'only' one goal. IIUC, in Y20 of the Y19/20 Season alone he played 19 matches for Al Hilal and netted 6 goals at least. In Y20 of the Y20/21 Season he seems to have netted only 1 goal; played in 22 matches. Accordingly, then no goals in Y21 nor Y22 calendar years. Am I mistaken? Is he right or wrong on this assertion?

Any truth to this Mavinga incredible anecdote? ( A young ) Davies rejected by Saint-Etienne because... supposedly shared same Agent. Then again Rudi Garcia refused Haaland for Marseille.

Don’t know where to put this, but Joe Cho’s mother died last week. We (Red Patch Boys) should do something, and people who have his contact info should offer him condolences. Shoeless was an incredibly important part of our history and it’s not the same without Joe.
I have stopped posting or reading the boards since an ignorant poster relentlessly attacked me - if I want social media BS there are lots of other avenues - but will monitor this thread for the next day or so to ensure Joe is appropriately recognized by all of us Red Patch Boys. Unfortunately this is the only way I know how to spread the word, particularly in the off season. Can we have a day for Joe and Helen at a match?
Thanks for letting us know.
