Yup! And I believe TFC couldn't even pay him for the game, because he wanted to maintain his amateur status -- or was that someone else?

Plus Rick was a scout and academy coach for TFC for a while.

It was him. All the above is true.

Tony Gallacher started and played the full 90 minutes in Liverpool's PL2 0-0 draw with Man City. He expected to be loaned out before the August 31st deadline. He has a previously proposed loan to Sunderland a few weeks ago fall through. This kids needs to move on, he simply does not have a future at Anfield.

Rick Titus, who played for the Toronto Lynx, and appeared once for TFC on loan in 2007, is now coaching the Ontario League One champions Masters FA.

They got to play York United in the Canadian Championship.

Great article about Richard Eckersley in the Athletic. Short version: he is running an Oat Milk company and living in a vegan intentional community in a small UK town.

Man U is now in a fight with Anthony Martial about whether he refused to play of not. Echos of certain actions by our former coach while he was here.

    Shades of Jozy.

I watched them the other day, the players seemed unaware of proper positioning and there didn't seem to be any strategy apart from an ineffective pressing. The whole "strategy" looked very familiar to me.

They didn't look at all good enough to be an EPL team, which is shocking given the talent that they have.

I am still very intrigued to see what his next job will be? I think we can all say that we were all shocked beyond belief when he got the gig at Man U, who say that coming. I honestly thought he would end up with a college head coaching gig, maybe a MLS assistant gig under the right cirumstances ie a buddy getting a head gig. Having ready the articles that the players are simply not impressed with him, not surprised at all but at the end of the day he will have one of the biggest clubs in the world on his resume and some clubs will be impressed by it, thus will give him a gig.

I thought they looked all right when they switched out of that ludicrous 4-2-2-2 and went to more of a 4-2-3-1 with Bruno playing more advanced against Aston Villa. At least until about the 70th minute when their defense folded again. I don't think Man U supporters are going to give Ralf time.

Martial's been on the outs for a while with 2 different managers.

Even with the better formation against Villa, there were still players unsure of where to be when. It points to a much more systemic problem than just poor formation choices.

The joys of following a shit football club LOL. Try following Stoke LOL.

although when we were shit, it was quite fun. ah I miss the days where we could smoke, drink our own booze and be idiots in 112. I think those teen idiots with the fireworks in 111 started a clamp down.

sigh. I miss those days where you knew a bunch of people in the bunker.

    A Robbo decision to ponder:

I was looking into Adekugbe's time in Vancouver, and he left because Robbo rated Jordan Harvey over him. More precisely, Adekugbe won the job, got injured, then never got his spot back.

No surprise seeing Adekugbe that was some world class strike of his, or are you talking about a former Red?

It was the former red. Not trying to aggravate the mods!

It would take 2 seconds on the internet to find more complimentary pics for some of these guys. Haha. I always find it funny when they do that in these types of things or in some articles as the pic they use to go with it. Larin and Ceren particularly in this one...

I knew you meant Zavs, hence the grinning smiley.

I always wonder who does up these things -- not because Zavs was selected, he does have the occasional standout performance -- but because the selections often seem random. I always imagine it's some junior intern.
