Robert Earnshaw has signed with Whitecaps today....
Well luckily we don't play Vancouver again this season, at least in the league. Otherwise given our karma, he would be sure to pot his "MLS Hat Trick" (which he is due based on his history) against us.
I guess he hasn't scored a Voyageurs Cup hat trick yet either, oh oh...
Gilberto has 4 goals in 6 starts after being loaned to Vasco.

JDG to Ottawa Fury...wow

Yeah, I just about spit-taked my morning beverage when I read that. It's going to be awesome to have that level of talent playing for the Fury. Assuming he still has gas left in his tank.

the Guardian piece on Robbo
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Julian De Guzman was sent off in his first match with Ottawa.

MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
An All-World goal on a volley, do doubt.

Now it is the Mirror, so take that with giant grain of salt, but...

Matías Laba plays key role in Vancouver Whitecaps' hot start: "I wouldn't swap him for anyone"
I think in his short time with TFC Laba has provide more than Bradley has to be honest. Of course we will see how things pan out but right now Vancouver is winning this deal.
I think Laba is the perfect DP, he plays a well defined key role for their team and isn't going to endlessly traveling the world playing nonsense friendlies and international competitions.
We cant blame the club for making the Bradley deal though, no team rejects that opportunity.

Shouldn't you want your coach to think he's the best?
