Bizarrely there is a guy with the same name at Valenciennes, which is where Kantari just signed

Signing confirmed this morning. Will be interesting to see how I does there. I am unsure if he will be good enough or not

Well there you go, Damien signs with Nottingham Forest on a free transfer. Figure he is making at least the same or if not better money than he was with Toronto.

lack of transfer fee always helps in wage negotiations during contract discussions but wasn't it only in March that Forest were having issues in actually paying their players. Hopefully they have whatever issue that was sorted.

I really hope this is the case. I think the Championship is a good place for his style of play but hope he gets a taste of the top.

Oh wow, gonna be a serious beard battle with Nat Borchers. If Konopka & Borchers stand next to each other on the goal line, they'll be blocking about 3/4 of the net with their beards alone. There's gotta be some kind of limit on that, just like with goalie pads in the NHL.

Apollon Limassol, the club TFC 'sold' Doneil Henry to. Very sketchy (but we suspected as much)

Doneil Henry tore his ACL while on loan at AC Horsens. Returning to London for treatment.

It pains me to see one of TFC's greatest prospects like this. At first I encouraged the move, but now I'm starting to think he might have been better off staying.

Getting injured has nothing to do with where you play for the most part, he has the best doctors at Westham but unfortunately it looks like injuries are starting to take a toll on him big time.

Thanks for this. I wonder if fans of the new teams will have to buy CFL ticket "ransom packs."

Preki could have been Leicester's coach instead of Ranieri. Would they have ended up winning the Premier League then?

A quick Wiki and Google news look up brings up nothing. It's like after he left the club, he just evaporated.

Speaking of unattached right backs, I hear ol' Richard Eckersley is on the market. I wouldn't mind picking him up as a Beitashour back up, on a reasonable contract of course.

hahaha no they would not have won the championship with Preki.
Preki plays very negative football and doesn't know how to manage players the Ranieri does.
