Chris Pozniak lead KW United FC to their first USL PDL Championship last night! In his first season as their coach also!
Henry playing for West Ham v. Astra
Read some tweets from West Ham supporters. The term "donkey" came up a few times.
My view is that this was his first game back since his season ending hamstring injury and that has to be taken into account when evaluating his performance which, I must point out, I did not see.

Gilberto could see some action tonight against Portland. I might have to watch this one!

Sadly, he did look like a donkey on the second goal. Who was he covering by going into the box? This was followed by a yellow card.
Gilberto starts tonight in the USL Cup.
Bekker starts in the Voyageurs.
Oh.......which to choose?
The perils of going into Brazil and getting a player who went simply went hot for a few weeks, thank goodness we somehow dodged this bullet.
Definitely not "Goalberto."
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

Preki is on the lam, LOL.

Jermain Defoe has advertised for a ‘24/7’ executive personal assistant to help with such things as arranging his diary, producing iPhone apps as well as stocking his fridge and ensuring that not only must the Sunderland striker’s plants keep growing, but so should the Defoe ‘global brand’ too.
The 32-year-old placed an advertisement for the position, which sounds pretty hectic and pays between £50,000 and £60,000 per annum, on secsinthecity.co.uk - http://www.secsinthecity.co.uk/job/3...TC_240815_job4
The successful candidate will ideally be able to “create a global brand for the Jermain Defoe name, growing his online database on his website, Twitter, Facebook and other social networking platforms” as well as “gaining further recognition within the media” and produce “his own iphone apps”.
And here’s a taster from the ‘errands’ section:
• Organise all Jermain’s personal needs i.e. drycleaners, gardeners, house refurbishments, sourcing interior designers and everyday task etc.
• Regularly checking the home when Jermain is away, making sure all is in place for his return i.e. fridge is stocked and plants watered and house is clean.
• Select and organise wardrobe with specific designers for special events/appearances i.e. Oswald boateng, Harrods, ZAP etc
"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports
Todd Dunivant announces he will retire at end of the 2015 season. One of my favorite early TFC players.
Terry Dunfield was on the subway the other day on the Bloor line. He remained on eastbound while I got off at Donlands. He was in a smart shirt and tie, he didn't look like a player at all anymore (looked like he was going to or from an office job!). Anybody know what he's doing these days?! i would have spoken to him except it was rush hour and the train was packed. I ended up staring at him and he probably thought I was a creeper!
he was helping with TFC in an unofficial capacity... not sure if he still is.
ha ha @ Jermaine Defoe.
Honestly, if there's a footy version of Eastbound and Down, he has to be it.
a ha ha heh he hoo.. ha
