• Talks about strategic plan being key to success
• On ‘why Toronto?’: sees it as big opportunity, thinks we can be the premier franchise in North America
• On needs for a ‘signature player’: Not necessary but can be accommodated if it’s the right person. League requires a lot of teaching and grooming of young players. Need people to work together as group, etc…
• Plans for club: find where bathrooms are, establish high level plan “we need to know who we are”
• Has met with Cochrane, Berne, and Mariner today already. Talking about high level stuff, will take time to get to know what’s happening more in the future. Sounds like he will be active in assessing the players that we have on the roster.
