Once again, if you haven't already done so, cast your vote for RPB Man of the Year for a chance to win a TFC Academy journal!

Judging by your tagline/signature, you're one of the very few people left on this board who still thinks Mariner is the guy to do it.

Me? I'm waiting for his successor. Since that probably won't happen until at least halfway through the next season, CCL play from early 2013 won't have any effect. If Mariner gets us tossed out of the 2013-2014 CCL by failing to win the Voyageurs Cup... that will benefit the next coach of TFC by simplifying his job.

MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

anything less than a Voyageurs cup win next year is unacceptable. Unless we have a new coach in which case he will be given time

Its long road ahead, but I dont think that will be the final straw. You definitely get the feeling he's going to quit from the harrassment he's getting from the fans. If you seen him lately he looks like a beaten man, and its got something to do with his dad dying but its also the humiliation he's getting by the fans behind the bench.

    Aaron Maund article.

FFS. No wonder Maund is clueless to what position he plays. He used to be outside mid in high school, converted to CB in NCAA, now a DM under Mariner.
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

    -Eduardo Galeano
