the Mega Bus station in Montreal has now moved to Bonaventure Metro station, by the Bell Centre. No need to worry about protesters holding up the intersection anymore.

Shouldnt be too hard to just walk on over. Security might even encourage you to come over if you are wearing red.

With the TFC supporters section on lower level being a total of seven sections 149, 151, 255, 257, 259, 261 & 263. All I recommend is that if you come into the supporters section and want to leave cover up your TFC/Red gear as last year they were not letting go into other parts of the stadium if you were. Not wanting to be held in the stadium for a while I slipped out and headed to the west end of the stadium for last little bit of the game and was able to be on the subway back downtown to the bar within minutes of the final whistle.

So how many of us are actually in the lower bowl?
It seems like most people are in the upper deck.
I get the feeling that the designated RPB & U-sec group is going to be rather small.
im kinda sad about that if true.

    From another thread:

I'd like to stress 2 things to ensure the best gameday possible:

    1. As soon as you arrive in town find a Metro stn and buy your tickets.
    2. Pay as you go Pre-Match for beer time!

These 2 steps will minimize the sadfaces that miss the start of the game.

so, i never received my TFC-MTL tickets. upon calling the FO yesterday, i was told that they were sent out and if i didnt get them today...to call back and they would send some more. called today and found out that MTL FO has yet to send more to the TFC FO. they might resort to leaving some tickets at the will call desk.

anyone else have a crazy situation like this?

Do "cash-and-carry" for your beers pre-game. Nothing's worse than running a tab, and waiting 15 mins. while they're settling a dozen other tabs at the same time! Worked like a charm at Gretzky's on Sat.

so news update - i will not be getting my tickets sent to me. there will be a TFC tent setup next to entrance A and my tickets will be there with my name on them. if anyone happens to have a spare pair of tickets, can you bring them just in case? i would hate to drive there and not have tickets.

last year, it was a jug fuck. hopefully they'll take into account the number of people showing up. expect long lineups (worse than at BMO) and don't expect a lot of choices. (Coors Light IIRC was the only thing available)

the amenities at the Big O ain't much

Oh there'll be beer alright. The problem is, they'll only serve Coors Light, like they did last year. Best to get a good buzz on before entering the stadium, if you're staying in town.

The guy in front of me bought 8 beers, so there is no 1 or 2 beer limit.

They well beer right to the moment you leave the stadium and have not limit on the amount any one person may purchase. Quite different than how it goes down at BMO.
