maybe the photo/lighting don't do it justice but in my opinion it's horrible. looks like a red jersey with a bunch of giant sweat stains (and one that happened to look like a leaf).

Was thinking the same thing. Maybe I'm crazy, but even the mock-up looks better than that photo.

As I mentioned in the other thread, I hate it. Looks like it's been worn by a really sweaty dude with his chest hair shaved into a leaf. Hopefully it's the lighting or photo that's not doing it justice.

I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, hope not. Fuck that's awful. Solid red looks stupid, and that's how it will appear when they're wearing it on the field.

And an even more defined Canadian maple leaf? Seriously? we're now one of three Canadian MLS teams, we should be phasing out the "Canadian-ness" of the brand and be focusing more on the city of Toronto itself. How about a faint outline of the classic Toronto skyline? Or the names of the SSH? Although personally I'd prefer that we just get rid of those stupid chest designs

Also, our team's colours are red, white and grey. Not red, red, and red with white reserved for sponsor logos. Personally, I'd be fine with getting rid of the grey, but they need to find a way to get white into that uniform. How about white sleeves, or red and white bars, or even red white and grey bars.

I'm sick of having boring jerseys with faint designs that you can't even see unless you're looking at it from three feet away. Lets have a kit that actually looks like a football kit for once

I like the Vancouver one behind it ahahhahaha. It reminds me of Germany's home kit from the euros that just passed i think. IN terms of TFC's, I have to see it in person or get a better quality photo, before i judge it.

They do it that way to reduce the knock offs. Its a strategy by Adidas.

I think the new shirt goes on sale a week before the season starts.

I'm not a fan of this shirt, sorry. The red with grey trim works (especially at the ends of the sleeves), but I'm not liking the maple leaf graphic. I agree with Greatest Ripoff that white would look pretty sweet, too.

I certainly don't hate the shirt, but if you take away that graphic from the front it would look so much better.

I like that it's different. The pattern on the front is pretty cool except the huge maple leaf is completely unnecessary. And can we get the BMO logo a little further down from the crest? Like Montreal's jerseys.

Need to see it in action to properly judge.

I don't quite get the anti-Maple Leaf sentiment here. I am always proud to wear the Maple Leaf.

The more I see this shirt the more I like it. I could even live with the removal of the three stripes. Just make it all red.

I actually like the shirt too, but what bugs me is how MLSE (actually Anselmi I think) just endlessly ratchets up the flag-waving or "support the troops" stuff. It's getting very, very old. Feels manipulative.

Based on that picture, I think it looks bad. Whoever designed it was trying to get too clever and ended up making it a busy mess.

The red leaf is coming through very strongly in the photo...it's probably a lot more subtle in person and actually may look nice. It should contrast nicely so its not just solid red....could be solid in person.

I don't get the resentment about their being a leaf on it..we are Canadian. I'm proud our kit shows that off compared to the other two Canadian teams.

That VWFC kit behind is a huge downgrade from their current home though. Their debut kit was awesome.
