Man Robert is awsome today. He's dragging defenders all over the park.

Oh god, let's not do anything crazy like put Hamse in.

Good game, we deserved to score, and so did the Crew. But on that note, fuck the Crew.

Schelotto's yellow card matches his gayass yellow team t-shirt. Way to bring more diving into this league you prick.

I was thoroughly impressed with TFC's peformance today coming off of an extended break in the schedule. The Reds dominated the match and deserved a better outcome. The fact that we can all come away disappointed with a draw (and a clean sheet) against the top team in the standings illustrates just how far TFC has come in such a short time. Bring on D.C.!!!

    10 things I think I think...
    1) Tyrone Marshall was man of the match (Robert a close 2nd)
    2) I may now hate another MLS player more than landycakes...
    3) If we had a DP striker, we'd be supporters shield contenders
    4) Streamers are officially annoying. Some players kick right through them...but when the guy taking the corner waits til all the streamers are cleared off the pitch before he kicks, its irritating as hell. Especially when we have the run of play because you just want him to get on with it.
    5) Did I mention Schelotto is a wanker?
    6) Jason De Vos is quality in the booth. Him and Nigel are the best MLS commentators that i've ever heard (except for that spanish guy who you hear in the game highlights).
    7) De vos says 'on the ascendancy' too much...the fact that thats the only thing i can say negative about him is a good thing.
    8) If we don't pick up 3 points vs DC on wed, it will be a disappointing home stand
    9) Colombus did well in not giving guevara much time on the ball.
    10) We did enough to win...just lacked the final touch.

Default Wonderful Effort Overall. Deserved the 3 but 1 is Ok

I thought TFC, especially (team) defensively, were awesome. Sure we deserved to win (more chances, post etc.) but a tie is good/ok. That is one big-fucking-point well-earned.

I agree with all these observations, especially about Gaylord Buttfuck Schelotto...

This makes me happy. Against the (current) strongest team in the league.

Toronto FC shots:14(4 tied with 3)
Columbus Crew shots: 7(Eddie Gaven 3)

Edu and Ricketts blowing those quality chances along with the Robert post make me hate it even more that Columbus escaped with a point.

We've got to turn more of these chances into goals.

One order of super striker for TFC please!

I'll say again, Robert today was fucking quality. He ran through guys like they weren't there and got a couple good attempts on goal. I'd give him MOTM ahead of Marshall (who was close but had some shakey moments as well).

that's one of the better games I've seen by TFC in its short history. too bad about the scoreline. I never felt really worried about Columbus. The defense was solid throughout the whole team. I saw two guys hit Wynne and just bounce off.. hahaha. Robert was very good today.. unlucky on that shot that hit the post -- notice how he waited and waited, then saw the columbus guy coming, and takes the shot just before the columbus dude gets his leg in.

I wanna get video of that moment when Robbie Rogers goes flying in the camera. funny look on his face as he goes in.

I thought we played quite good, we definitely deserved to pull out a win. Robert with that amazing shot from inside the box that hit the post. Then Ricketts and Edu both had huge chances but didn't get enough power on the shot.

We really just need to turn these chances into actual goals.

my hate for columbus was cemented this match... their team is dead to me

schelleto should have gotten a card for dissent in the first half, i've haven't seen such a fantastic diving display since alexander despatie at the olympics

our passing looked rusty in the first half (i blame the layoff)

our one man approach up front is too easy to defend against

but a good draw against the team w/ the most points in the mls, although we should have won with all of our chances

Really? I mean he made a couple of very nice plays including saving the goal, but he made some stupid passes one of which let to one of the crews best chances.

If this were Trophy manager, I would put everybody in the shooting training team for the whole week.

But it's not, so no doubt Carver is going to do a few finishing drills before Wednesday.

This game was ours...I was disappointed we didn't walk away with a win...but I am glad we showed that TFC is a hard place to come in and score let alone steal a win.

It was a good day, and would only have been made better with 3 points.

Oh...and Schelotto is a flaming homosexual.

P.S. I love Edu...but man, somebody nees to school him on what to do once you hit the 18 yard box. Those were some weak-ass shots.

This was one of the most physical games we've put on the field. My man of the match - Paul Winsper. The improvements in stamina and ability to keep the ball on the part of our guys is nothing less than amazing. Most of our team was playing the full length of the field-this killed us when we tried to do this last season. I was somewhat concerned by the decision to bring everybody forward or back to follow the play but I trust that Carver analyzed what would work best against the Crew.

I thought the game was well played. TFC dominated the first half. I sure as hell could have sworn we should have won this. I wanted to see more shots hitting the target though.

The problem I'm having with drawing the 'best team in MLS' after having a two-week layoff is that team is Columbus. I can't get last year's Columbus out of my head. Are they that much better than last year ? I'd be happier with this result against the top team if that team were, say DCU. I dunno. Does that make sense ?

If we can convert some of these awesome chances we are getting we will replace the screw at the top...
Great game, no real threat and lots of chances. Brennan was great I thought (course I usually do. lol)

Also, watching this game today was like watching me play Fifa '08 on my PSP.

Lots of neat passing (75%-80%), some clumsy tackling, daft giveaways topped of with criminal profligacy in the box. Shots-25, On Goal-2, score 0-0.

    bah.
a ha ha heh he hoo.. ha
