Huckerby to San Jose for Int'l spot + Allocation

Toronto FC announced Monday that they have acquired allocation money, and an International roster slot for the remainder of the 2008 season through 2013 from the San Jose Earthquakes. In return, the expansion team receives the rights to forward Darren Huckerby.

Holy crap... 5 years is a long time to get an I slot. Why is SJ management tricked so easily? They have essentially paid for and accomodated our DP.

And SJ have a acquired a player who is basically admitting that he is coming to MLS to mail it in and chill under the Cali sun......way to fleece 'em MO!!
