Default Pre/In/Post Game: Sat 14 Jul - TFC at New England 730pm

Can the lads continue their form and come away with another massive win away? New England is a bit of jekyl and hyde team, you never know which Rev side will show up. Plus the turf screws up TFC's game.

I know it was at BMO Field last time, but the Revs really didn't show that much against TFC.
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

    -Eduardo Galeano

Rev's are solid at home and shitey away. If you believe in miracles, we need 3pts here. Hopefully revenge is on our minds.

I hope Mariner goes back to the diamond midfield and switches Henry and Ecks back to their natural positions...

I'm not sure if we have enough players to fill the bench.
    Soolsma -Home
    Plata-Home
    DeGuzman-Dallas
    Lambe -Home Bermuda private matter

    2-2 again

Anybody know if Lambe is back from his "family matter" in Bermuda?

I expect another dominant performance from the man they call "the fourth prostar" terry dunfield. 3-0 tfc. Dunny, being the team player he is, lets others do the scoring this time.

Wait wtf am i saying? Everyone knows Dunfield will start!

Predicting Dunfield will score 2 goals for us than he gets signed a DP contract during half-time and we win 2-0.

no one. MLS is giving Mariner allocation money for the money he saves them by not taking any extra players on the road

    This is a good question.

The new guy is with the team, so there's one guy.

I though it was a little embarrassing that TFC didn't even have a full bench last game, at home. Of course they did end up winning, but with a roster of 30 players isn't there a young player that can at least take a spot? Its not like the players are far away.

This team bleeds too many goals, the Revs are on a decent run recently. It's going to be another game like so many away disasters over the years. If you watched the game last Sunday in Philly then you have already watched tonight's New England game, 3-0 New England. This team has a long way to go before gaining any type of respectability.

Yes, don't young player gain valuable experience by traveling with the team and being in a professional environment on road even they don't make it off the bench?

That's probably pretty realistic. Anything better would be a moral victory. But yeah: turf, travel, thinner roster ahead of a summer rebuild (to start preparation for next year), and a rested opponent who's only had a couple home games since they last played us and will be targetting this game? Recipe for disaster.

Full benches are too cluttered. Terrible use of space. I'd imagine Mariner hired a feng shui
    consultant.

    my starting XI prediction:
    Kocic
Hall (who`s magically fine again) - Eckersley - Emory - Morgan
Wiedeman (aka best finisher in the world) - Dunfield - Frings - Silva
    Koevermans - Johnson

I don't think Wiedeman (aka the best finisher in modern times) will start, but probably will get 20-30 minutes as a sub.

Wiedeman is very much a kid getting a look, I think, not a starter. Think Peri Marosevic

It`s either wiedeman or Avila. Avila`s awesome, but it seems like Mariner really likes this Wiedeman guy

Mariner definitely has plans for Wiedeman, and his development as a striker. Mariner specific knowledge is being a striker after all.

Have'nt been overly impressed with Mariner up 'til now BUT if he can somehow squeeze out a result tonight than he will win me over somewhat.

team turnover, tired squad, short week, New England playing well, on the road...all points to a TFC loss. WE SHALL SEE .

I don't understand why people are trying to use logic to predict the outcome of this game.

    3-0 TFC.

That is one ugly stadium for atmosphere creation.
