I talked to him at Gate 4 after the Whitecaps game. he says he's day-to-day and is just waiting to be cleared by the trainers.

"De Guzman’s agent confirmed the transaction in a text message sent to sportsnet.ca precisely at 2 a.m. ET. He offered no other details about the deal, such as who or what Toronto was getting in return for the veteran midfielder."

"Sportsnet.ca immediately contacted Toronto FC seeking a comment, but the Major League Soccer club did not respond."

I wonder who they called at 2 AM trying to get a confirmation.

The Stars article says "While the other two players involved in the June 18 incident in Houston — forward Nick Soolsma and defender Miguel Aceval — are no longer part of the club’s plans"

Can we assume that he's pretty much gone, then?
