I'm truly astonished. I knew there would be a lot of long balls played for TFC to move forward but it really looks like it is plan A, plan B and plan C.

Almost everything is an attempt to move the balls 25 yards + at a time.

If Kocic and the back line are free to kick every ball over midfielders like Torsten Frings there's no chance JDG is gonna be in there.

What is JDG going to do if there are almost no balls to be played in the defensive half of midfield?

Got you.. But it makes no sense whatsoever to me that we are playing a system that keeps one of our dp's on the bench.. As much as I'm not a JDG fan he is miles more skilled than dunfield..

If you mean the NYRB game on Saturday then yes, I saw it. And I liked how they stayed compact in the second half. I just don't think JDG is best used as an 80th minute sub in favour of playing Dunfield all game.

Point being...TFC is not currently set up to benefit from starting JDG
