Only two more years until we score in the final 5 to win a game!

1 more year till we steal a draw!

Funny how those are spaced out, we're maxed out at one per season apparently.

I just wrote an article about this for goal.com

    http://www.goal.com/en-ca/news/4175/...for-toronto-fc

It really is interesting to see how often this kind of thing happens.
In comparison, the Sounders have lost/drawn/blown a lead only 6 times in their MLS history.

makes it easy to bet on them. I made $20 off my wife with the Houston and New England games when I bet her $10 that TFC would concede in the last 5 min.

I remember predicting that goal. how? because it was late in the game and we were bunkering and giving away a bunch of corners. Then someone kicked the ball out the back unnecessarily, and I said to my buddy, "Thierry Henry`s going to score on this corner". I knew it would be Henry because it`s always the other team`s star striker who scores against us.

What did you end up buying her with the money?

I think the "trend" in giving up last minute goals just goes to show that we have NEVER had a great leader in the back 4, including in goal. I love Frei and Kocic, but they are super young as goalkeepers. Most of the league's goally's are 30 plus, and we really miss experience at the back often. We've never had that breat "veteran" defender or goally that calms everybody and gives direction. Cann is ok, but he's not really a leader type. We really need that experience going into the final 5 minutes of games.

Scored by TFC to earn a draw
    2007 - Danny Dichio 90' to draw NE 2-2

That was a great day in our meagre history.
"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports

Final seconds, I had never seen this in 5 years.

What a great feeling to be on the other side finally.

Yah, It was good times. There was this guy and his girlfriend apparently left the game from my section when Vancouver was up 1-0 around the 70th minute. Unfortunate that they miss most of the good stuff and finish in the end.

^Armen, that is nice. Something that even the most hardened, bitter supporter has to smile at. Love it!

We've now given away points 8 times this year in the final 5 minutes, the same amount of times we've taken them in our 6 year history.
