I dont think he will be traded until the league suspension is listed. So he would most likely stay with the team for the year. Its also the only option for TFC to raise his trade value up and trade for a 1st round pick in the draft.

Somewhere in the back of my mind though I think Silva will be traded this year just as a miscalculated decision and we'll get in return a 3rd round pick.

Silva is ok. He disappears for long stretches in a game. Like literally doesn't even touch the ball for 10-15 minutes at a time.
I think Soolsma is developing nicely, I'd put him up there as a loss is he were to go.

This isn't really that big of a deal when it comes to deciding the players' fate. Other athletes have incidents like this and continue on with their team. You can do worse than public intoxication when getting arrested.

Aceval wasn't going to play anyway, and apparently Mariner doesn't like Soolsma (a shame) so this doesn't really affect them. I think Silva will be back on the pitch after a couple games suspension.
