Pretty cool story about Sounders supporters going to El Salvador for a CCL match
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

And another interesting article about an American trying out for a soccer team in Brazil

"If you go over to Europe, you're just going to be another player. I really want to stay here; I want to make history here. I really believe that on paper we're one of the better teams in MLS. We just need to translate onto the field."
That's quite the expression of commitment to TFC. I can certainly respect the desire to be an integral part of building something special from scratch. It's part of the question of where one can make the greatest impact in one's career. It's very good to hear that Stefan feels the healing process is ahead of schedule. Stay focused and keep working hard Stefan.

That Frei quote just put him to the top of my favourite player list.

After everything Frei has endured and witnessed during his tenure in Toronto, he deserves his own statue on the BMO Field grounds for making those comments.

surprised that he'd say something like that, despite all the drama he's seen in Toronto... wait, is his GF Canadian/Torontonian?

let's cap him for CMNT already

Let's save the statue talk for Jimmy Brennan please!

And haven't we already made history?

Another Carl Robinson story in Vancouver

I wish it was Robbo being Winter's assistant right now, instead of Jim Brennan. I wish it was Carl Robinson's name on the Wall of Honour instead of Jim Brennan's

Carl's dad, it looks the paper's editor fell asleep at the job. That aside, a really nice article on Carl. Like it has been said above, wish it was him hear as assistant instead of jimmy b, total class act
