Dero with his second. Is it time to fire Winter yet, or just rearrange the backroom staff again?

Alan Gordon was right, Winter is the 2nd coming of Ruud Gullit.

so will 0-9 be enough to fire Winter? Or are we going to have to go winless the entire season?

Wrong lineup, disgusting starting lineup from the start. I was a Winter backer 100% until now. But this is breaking point just like the Deguzman vs Santos away game turned me against Deguz, this is it for WInter.

I saw Vancouver earlier and it set me up for disappointment for tonight. Lambe was a horrible pick up. Plata was nice last season, but I think his transfer hit on the salary cap was too much for such a limited player. Dunfield is horrid. Aceval has to be rotated in centre back and left back to give Morgan some resting time but I dont think he's a bad pick up. Like I said before Avila and Silva have to start together.

It's ok that you missed a 6 yard sitter Dunfield. Just keep up the "hustle" and the "fight" and "work hard".

hard to tinker with a lineup that got the result the previous game esp away

If we want to make a statement to TFC , don't buy tickets to the CL if we advance. I don't want to pay anymore to MLSE

I would be suprised if Winter is fired after this game. The only way he's get fired if we lose this Wednesday's game.

Soolsma and Koevermans are apparently healthy why now unleash them on the depleted DC backline?

They will be playing on Wednesday. Having them play 2 full 90 minutes in less than a week could cause more serious injuries.

LOL, minus Hall and Dunfield, this is the best lineup TFC can put together. If he's fired after putting out this lineup I think it would be warranted. Give the players some motivation by getting rid of the manager. Make them work to keep their place.

TFC should fire Winter Thursday morning. Give the next coach some time before the next important game, which will be in the CCL.

They seemed fine on Wed. They could have played the first 60 todayt and get a positive start. Instead we have this disaster

Not the first time DeRo has done this to a former team. Henry said DeRo shut down the energy drinks single handedly.

And yeah, we are really missing Frings.

but what about the new culture they decided we have now??? it's sooo embarrassing to follow this shambles

firing Winter wouldn't be enough anyway. Amselmi has got to get out too

I mean really? I don't want us losing either, but I'm not going to add to that grief and put myself in some grumpy rut about it. At the end of the time, time and time again sports has taught us all that a turn around is not impossible until it is impossible.

For that reason you should hang on until it's over IMO. Can't imagine what a St. Louis Cardinal fan felt like last fall...

It was said we'd never win in Dallas, but they were wrong.
It was said 2-2 vs LA would end our run, but they were wrong.
It was said our 0-0 at Montreal was a bad result, but they were wrong.
It was said we would lose at Vancouver, but they were wrong.
It was said we couldn't turn this ship around.....

2+ games in hand, a return of health/fitness and some recent good form sits before 26 matches. SKC was 1-1-6 to start before winning the Eastern Conference just a year ago. The circumstance was a bit different, but we're not talking about accomplishing something as far fetched as some sound it out to be. We're asking for 5th, not 1st.
nice. every little thing gonna be alright.

As long as we win the Amway, this team rocks. That means we can prepare for the next meaningful game in late August when we suit up against a semi pro Nicaraguan team.

    Sorry. That was total disgust.

If they got hurt in the first 60? Would we get on Winter for starting these players when we have such a big game on Wednesday? What if they couldn't go 60 minutes because their fitness wasn't up to it, do we waste 2 subs early on?

They can play 30 to 45 minutes probably right now.

Man, we traded Dero for Aron Maund, we can't trust anyone in management. It's just not working for TFC and Aron Winter. Something needs to change and that something is a new coach. I don't know what can change this. We're going around in circles.

Fuck, I hate seeing this week after week.

I'm sorry but these guys should be fighting for their pride at this point. I feel like I care more than they do which has me flying off the handle. This happened to me with the Leafs also, they are losers through and seem to not care. But i gave these TFC athletes the benefit of doubt after seeing them collapse after last second loss to RSL.

    Yet here we are.

A team that goes 0-8 (soon to be 0-9) in the league has no business being the Canadian Champion...

Well then the issue becomes blowing the budget on old unfit DPs.

Yet if we win on Wed, all will be well and MLSE will send us a bill to buy 3 more freakin' games and what will we all do.....we will continue to buy it. This will be the first year, I won't buy any extra games for CL.
