Winning and losing isn't forever. Every game is a new day.
I think I've just had all the optimism beaten out of me so far this season, so I can't see us winning 2 games in a row! I can't wait for the day when I renew my optimism for this team!

I've grown up a Hamilton Tiger Cats fan, I know futility has deeper depths than what TFC has shown.

Nobody is doing themselves any favours being half glass empty about support, can't imagine is very fun to act it, reading threads about the dumb things people want to do and how upset they are. I mean really? I don't want us losing either, but I'm not going to add to that grief and put myself in some grumpy rut about it. At the end of the time, time and time again sports has taught us all that a turn around is not impossible until it is impossible.

For that reason you should hang on until it's over IMO. Can't imagine what a St. Louis Cardinal fan felt like last fall...

It was said we'd never win in Dallas, but they were wrong.
It was said 2-2 vs LA would end our run, but they were wrong.
It was said our 0-0 at Montreal was a bad result, but they were wrong.
It was said we would lose at Vancouver, but they were wrong.
It was said we couldn't turn this ship around.....

2+ games in hand, a return of health/fitness and some recent good form sits before 26 matches. SKC was 1-1-6 to start before winning the Eastern Conference just a year ago. The circumstance was a bit different, but we're not talking about accomplishing something as far fetched as some sound it out to be. We're asking for 5th, not 1st.

Whether a win or a draw, I'd just be happy to see the streak end. Since I've watched every game so far, and will be at a cottage for the long weekend and have no access to a TV to watch this one, I'm assuming they'll get one of those. I realized when I went to get a beer at the Chicago game and they scored their only two goals so far to that point, then when I came back down watched Chicago tie it again, that I'm not very good luck....

Still, a win is a difficult thing to get on the road, so I am thinking 2-2. We have been getting points at RFK lately and I see no reason why it should not continue. The good? The first league points of the season. The bad? It pretty much seals the league season as being over.

The truth is that the only thing left to play for is the ACC/CCL.
I do not disagree. I am just a touch more optimistic, just because I agree that if we do not win, we will have to climb Mount Everest to make the playoffs.

    -----------Kocic----------
    -Ecks-Cann-Henry-Morgan-
    -----------JDG------------
    -------Soolsma-Avila------
    ----Lambe-Koef-Johnson--

Soolsma looked good at CAM before he got injured and Reggie is really dangerous at right wing, so they can make a really good combo with Avila beside him too. We should probably bring Plata on to rest Johnson and probably put Stinson/Burgos/Dunfield on near the end.

All it look as wins outside the league to rekindle the idea we could win in MLS. We haven't. And we still won't.

Philly looks better for a W then tomorrow.

We can't have our starting lineup from Leg 1 with Eckersley vs DC United, that's just naive.

Your an idiot, why the fuck would you play Harden and Aceval in the back when they let in more goals in than the games they played and why would you play Stinson over JDG when he is finally in his form. Clearly your the one thats naive.

This is a big excessive. No need for personal insults. Can we bring it down a notch and keep it civil FFS?
"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports
