Chicago's Carr out for season

The Chicago Fire's interest in getting a deal done to bring Brian McBride to Toyota Park may have just gotten a little more serious. On Friday night, the club announced that striker Calen Carr is done for the season. Considering two of the side's other strikers, Andy Herron and Tomasz Frankowski are already fighting injuries, they may need reinforcements soon.
