6 pages on the pre-match thread for a game that is 10 days away. Barely 2 pages for a game that is being played tonight. What gives! We're going to win tonight, for sure.
going down to TO to see my brother saturday, whats the best bar to watch this game at??
"I'm not mentioning any names, but let's just say Seattle can tongue-kiss my shit-hole."
Kenny fucking Powers - eastbound and down
NOTICE: Wager with STB: OVER 2 shots on goal in the First half wins a Pint at HT.
I can't imagine the Sounders without Keller sreaming at his backline. I think that their defense looks weak. They have the fire power to make this a high scoring game - especially at home. If Aron gets the tactics right, we could see a low scoring tie.
My prediction is 1-1.
PS: Dear broadcasters, please don't make us suffer through watching brutal chants by fans that look like they belong on the Adams Family.

"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports
I'm calling a 2-2 draw, which would be a decent result at that venue.
I think we can win in Seattle, however, it's never an easy task to win on the road. Seattle plays a solid brand of football, and they will want to atone for losing so badly in Mexico.
I would like to see Lambe get the start today. There will be some great opportunities for counter attacking, and its time for us to see this "speed" we've all heard so much about.
Toronto FC 3 Sounders FC 2
Until this team gives me a reason to doubt them, I wont.
Toronto till I die.
It'll be telling if we can actually score on the road or, at the very least, generate good chances to score.
Seattle might be on the verge of suffering major confidence problems.
This is good practice for the Santos Laguna games, given that Seattle plays a midfield dominated, flowing game, which (based on highlights only) looks a lot like what Santos Laguna played.
If he does that, Winter's going to keep the high line, ie continue to put pressure on Harden and Aceval to make plays. They're going to need to, if this is what we're doing against Santos Laguna, our luck will not hold out if they don't.
But this game could get ugly if it doesn't work. This is the best midfield, and Rosales may be the best player, in the league. Even if it's not working, I expect Winter not to adjust, but to stay with the high line, to get Harden/Aceval as ready as possible.
Could easily be a 4-1 or 5-1 loss. We need to not get down if it happens.
What the world needs is more geniuses with humility; there are so few of us left.
Injury report:
TORONTO FC -- OUT: FW Nicholas Lindsay (L knee surgery recovery); DF Dicoy Williams (R knee surgery recovery); DF Jeremy Hall (sports hernia surgery recovery); QUESTIONABLE: DF Adrian Cann (R knee surgery recovery)
SEATTLE SOUNDERS FC -- OUT: GK Josh Ford (knee pain); DF Andrew Duran (knee surgery); DF Michael Tetteh (hamstring); FW OíBrian White (leg surgery); MF Steve Zakuani (leg fracture); DOUBTFUL: FW Eddie Johnson (hip injury)
I didn't realize why Hall was out. Good to see Cann almost ready.
I really want to see this game, but I'll be out with my Irish boys all day, I guess it depends what starts first, the game or the spins.
That injury report = ouch. Not exactly the mysterious "lower body injury".
Will this match be streamed on the sportsnet website?

check here. They'll most likely have a link.
I'm calling a 3-1 loss for this one because I think it's a tough road game to play. I would love to be pleasantly surprised though and be wrong!
No matter what the result though, I won't let it get me down since there have been so many positives to start the year already!
Kocic: Eckersley, Harden, Aceval, Emory; Frings, Dunfield, Silva; Soolsma, Johnson, Avila
substitutes: Frei; Maund, Morgan, de Guzman, Lambe, Plata, Koevermans
No Koevermans? Avila as a winger? So many questions!
No Morgan is the biggest surprise for me.
I think Seattle is looking for some redemption. 2-1 final score.
Johnson in form, he'll get us a goal.
Does de guzman have an injury?
