As great of a game Frings had (not to mention what a Frings fan I am), I have to give it to Milos! He came up big when called on, standing tall, and robbing Keane with a monsterous save. Looked like he got finger tips on the goal, but he didn't have a chance when Harden knocked it to the corner.

Wow. Winter definitely out managed Arena. Great game. TFC did it. Incredible.

speaking of scotch, busted out the 12 year old Glenfiddich special reserve. Massive moment in Canadian soccer history.

Dude I live in Brampton, I have been stopped in the street by strangers.

Where I work in Mississauga (at a Bank that isn't BMO) we see TFC gear regularly.

Does it have the same penetration as the Leafs... no.. but more then the Argos.

It's a young league, in a sport that is looked down at by many North Americans, but that is changing. It really depends on where you are and the make up of the people.

Many may not understand, but this is how they learn... 4 years ago I had no idea what the hell the CCL was.. I didn't even know all the rules, let alone being able to name all the players. I learned a lot during Montreals Run at the Quarterfinals.

It's things like this when those people that ask what the hell it is, learn, and it builds interest a little bit at a time...

If Toronto made it to the finals of the CCL the city would be going nuts. It would be on every newspaper, every new station, the whole city would know what it was. It would be really great.

The Biggest issue for the sport in this city is that it's too well supported by the core, so no awareness needs to be given to sell...

in 2008/2009 Montreal pimped the game, it was a big deal.. second division team making it to the quarter finals. It was huge.

Now TFC is in the Semi-finals, if we beat Santos (which is going to be really tough but doable) and make it to the Finals. End of April the City will be going nuts because we'd be hosting the final leg. They'd sell out BMO field, and broadcast the game at Rogers and sell out 55,000 seats there too.

People need to give some credit to Silva too, the second he came on the field the ball started going forward again, I think he had the biggest impact on the last 30 minutes, he kept LA from just sieging our final third. I can only wish he and Plata would have been on together.

Silva was great coming on. Johnson and Soolsma played their best games. But it was all Frings pulling the strings. The fucking puppet master of LAs disaster.

Just got back to my hotel.. what a game. After the first goal you could hear a pin drop in the stadium. I can't believe we pulled it off. I mean, LA has an awful back line but they're still an impressive team. Either way.. FUCK YA!

One of the best moments in the stands was when the entire Silva clan joined the away support and literally doubled our numbers. It was something else, I tell ya.

TFC has the biggest Johnson in MLS.
O, Maple Leaf around the world, You speak as you rise high above,
Of courage, peace and quiet strength, Of the Canada that I love.
Remind us all, our union bound by ties we cannot sever,
Bright flag revered on every ground, The Maple Leaf forever

cant help but say i called the line up, and the scoreline.

I said TFC would've only won with Kocic and sure enough he proved me right.
