TFC doesn't impress Impact coach

Montreal Impact coach John Limniatis is convinced his team will be able to beat Toronto FC July 22 to advance to the CONCACAF Champions League.
Limniatis said he wasn't impressed with Toronto's performance in a 2-2 draw with the Vancouver Whitecaps on Wednesday that left the MLS squad needing a victory to go on to the preliminary round of the CONCACAF Champions League against Nicaraguan champions Real Esteli.

Toronto FC faced a rather stark choice at halftime of last night's Voyageurs Cup Canadian Championship soccer match in Vancouver: score at least one goal in the second half, or be forced to score four or more against Montreal in the series finale on July 22.

There should be at least one Toronto FC player on the pitch for the Major League Soccer all-star game at BMO Field in Toronto on July 24, but he is the ubiquitous player to be named.
No Toronto players were in the MLS first XI — led by top vote-earners David Beckham and Landon Donovan of the Los Angeles Galaxy —that was announced at a news conference yesterday.
