Mellberg was on Aston Villa when they played TFC in 2007. Played the first half of the friendly (had to look it up).
That was an awesome game. The crowd was voracious and loud as hell and John Carew (if I remember correctly) saluted the crowd by clapping his right hand against the soccer ball in appreciation to a chorus of boos just after scoring a goal.... great game to watch.
