^ If we get past LA and play Santos Laguna, don't be so sure we won't be pulling an Impact/Sounders as well.

the scariest part of santos victory was that they did this to seattle (ranked 2-3 on most people's power charts) and their best striker darwin quintero didn't play
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

For what it's worth, Morelia got ravaged by Monterrey. Morelia were expected to win the series seeing as they are tied with Santos Laguna for the top in the Mexican Clausura.

Just saying this doesn't have to be necessarily a Mexico > MLS thing.

Could we do a two week loan deal with Man City to get Vincent Kompany?

I think they did, our counter in the 2nd half last night using Morgan was effective.

Pumas VS Metapan in a short while, I wonder if Metapan will be able to do something in Mexico. We saw what happened to Seattle. That said, Pumas isn't doing aswell as Santos.

Pumas isn't a very good side so I would say Metapan going through is certainly possible but with that said, Pumas will go through. Just wouldn't be a shocked either way but whoever gets through will get beaten handily by Monterrey.

8 nil at the moment...did Pumas play their reserves in El Salvador? Maybe they had a league game close to that date and didn't really try...

Too many lopsided results. The only one with a respectable scoreline was Toronto vs LA.
