    Default Jamal James

Who thinks that Jamal James has totally earned Mo Edu's holding midfeild position? Great performances aside... his work ethic alone should put him past Edu on the depth chart

JJ has been doing well of late, I have liked what he has brought to the pitch.

The first goal in Vancouver was his fault. Watch the replay. The second goal was Edu's fault.

Although James had a good game besides the mess up, I don't think he's a starter on this team yet. Atleast not when the rest of the team is healthy.

it amazes me how many people don't know who plays for TFC.

i'm certainly sick of the "Amando" chants

that being said, Edu is fine where he is, and so is Julius.

The first goal in Vancouver was Marshalls fault, watch the replay. And Julius is a CB while Mo (at that point) was playing his usual central mid with an attacking option. This one is a bit far fetched

Well, I replayed it 4 times and my buddy and I were watching it saying to ourselves, what the hell was Julius James doing standing around on the rebound. It's obvious he didn't react to the rebound and he certainly looked the closest to the ball. Anyways, it was probably both their faults.

I thought maybe Julius had a brother that was getting a trial or something, like Chris Bosh's brother playing in the Rap's summer league.

Oh well. I'm going to ease off my Edu bashing for just a little bit. If he wasn't moved to central defender he would have had a great game against VWC.

I don't necessarily agree that JJ is the answer in Edu's position, but I'm definitely not impressed about Mo's play so far this year. I'm cowriting a blog on theoffside with Rob from U-Sector, and I wrote an article about this yesterday.

    http://torontofc.theoffside.com/unca.../mos-woes.html

It would be great to get some comments/constructive criticism.

He was an arrogant prick last season and we loved him. Would Rooney look good in a TFC kit? How would he react to a season playing along the likes of harmse and robinson and cunningham? Edu suffers from having unbridled talent. If he were playing in the EPL fans would adore him, and his game would improve drastically. Unfortunately, MLS is a league that bright young talent views as a prison sentence. Think Altidore, and you get the message.

Well if Edu really wants to go to the EPL, he should perhaps take his gig with TFC a bit more seriously and tone down on the offfield stuff a tad. Cuz right now, I doubt he could cut it at Cardiff City, with the way hes been playing. EPL fans would love him?? Dont make me laugh.

Work Ethic aside there is a reason that Julius James is a defender, he doesn't have the legs under him to be a midfielder or stamina for that matter. Although Juluis has worked his ass off so far this season.
