Skywalk Closure (2011-2013)
In July 2011, construction begins on the Ripley's Aquarium of Canada to be built at the base of the CN Tower. For the period of July 2011 to July 2013, the construction crew must close the western entrance/exit of SkyWalk, the pedestrian connection between the CN Tower/Rogers Centre and Union Station, the TTC and GO Transit. Access between these two areas is still possible and facilitated by a signed detour.

visually, the supporters section is invisible to the upper bowl. It's covered by an overhang from the 200 level.

A big part of this decision is to work to actively encourage the rest of the stadium to join in. there's 40,000 people who wont be able to sing anything but the simplest of chants. Getting them involved is essential.

Doors open at 7 anyway, there's nothing you can do getting there before that. Leaving Croc at 6:45 makes most sense, as people will get to the stadium at 7:15 at the LATEST, just 15 minutes after doors were opened.

There is no point in being there before you are allowed to go into the stadium, when we could be marching downtown.

I have work 'til 6, I'll head down to the Croc after and hopefully join in with whatever is going on there.

I will probably go in the earlier march...I would rather be at the stadium waiting 30 min for the gates to open so I can get in and put up my banners and what not then waiting in a line for 30-45 min to get in the stadium and have little time for set-up.
Again I compare this to my team in Japan where the supporters section is full our banners are up and we are singing 2 hours before kick-off.

It's not about the 'march' it's about getting the soccer people out before their real customers come in.

They should have just set something up for all of us at a venue close by and made it a great event..... nope.
