I'm down in the Caribbean...neither ESPN3 nor TSN2 are available. What's the score, and how long to go in the game?
Thanks.
O, Maple Leaf around the world, You speak as you rise high above,
Of courage, peace and quiet strength, Of the Canada that I love.
Remind us all, our union bound by ties we cannot sever,
Bright flag revered on every ground, The Maple Leaf forever
Overused phrase of the night: "giving chase"
We've injured Hassli, Camilo and Harris. I would call it a job well done
Vancouver leading.

Its kinda sad to see Joe Cannon waste time isn't it
Hang in there guys, 7 mins to go.
Another glimpse at Robbo.
That guy looks like Carl Robinson. Who is he?
kidding
Losing 1-0, not bad for our "C" squad. When we played an equivalent "C" squad, we won 6-1.

Roberts handled that really well
Great positioning by a young Roberts.

Thanks. Hope I can find somewhere to watch the game on Wednesday.

We'll let them have the Mickey Mouse Cup. We've got a Voyageurs Cup in the trophy case.

Too bad
Our Academy impressed me to no end. Well done to the young kids.
Credit to Jason Bent.
Not bad, not bad, not bad.
So, do we get the Micky Mouse Silver Medal?
Quite pleased with the performance. I thought we would get stomped. Great experience for the young players. I could care less if VW put in a full effort or not.
we dont need a stupid Mickey Mouse Cup, we still could win the Concacaf Champions League Cup which is going to be better
Curious what the possession was at?
The kids did very well -- as young as 15 against WC experienced professionals!
It's not that they Whitecaps were bad, they've beaten every other team. Our academy kids are looking quite good. The long-term future for TFC is looking better than ever.
I loved to see how well they've learned the system, there were some impressive flowing plays there.
The one thing that was lacking was a solid goal-scorer. Vukovic didn't really deliver this game.
Out of the two first-team players, Avila looked really good out there. Surprisingly, Soolsma didn't look any better than the academy kids.

They took on an MLS first team and put up a great fight. Nicely done.
Very impressed with the composure of our academy kids.
The future is bright for this club!
No shame in losing that one by the kids. They played with poise and composure. Playing in csl helped alot. Not intimidated by whitecaps. Though they looked gassed out by the end.
avila has talent but boy he is inconsistent at times. Huezo looks good enough for back up lb. I hope hamilton doesnt pull an aleman. Lots of guys playing out of position but very credible job
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”
-Eduardo Galeano
Damn, we have some major youth talent. They really are learning the system well, there was a lot of clean movement (more than the first team, I'd almost say.) If we'd had a bigger mid to compete with Koffie, we might've won that.
Jr. Burgos is player. We should sign him, Orozco and Huezo, off this performance.
So TFC has 4 roster spots open, and will probably sign two. One will be a GK. Who would you guys sign? First for GK, and what other player?
EDIT: saw Jeremy's post. Everyone agree?
