Four player that you would sign
Since we have 26 players on our squad out of 30 we can get four more guys in.
I would sign the following:
1. Efrain Burgos Jr
2. Moises Orozco
3. Stefan Vukovic
4. Dutch player? (since we have 1 international slot opened) or another academy/trilaist.
Who would you guys sign?

There are actually 5 spots available, one on-budget and four off.
1. Vukovic - Training with the first team/getting a few games here and there would be better for his development at this point than spending another year in CSL. I think he must've picked up an injury or something to be kept out of the last two games.
2. Burgos Jr. - Impressed in the games so far showing good vision and technical ability, improves AM depth.
3. Orozco - Great goal.
4. Green - Being the only supplemental draft pick left means Winter must see something in him, I thought he played well against Hacken.
5. Huezo - Provides much needed LB depth. That's all I know about him.
I'm thinking Winter probably signs 4 players and leaves one spot open.

I'd start off with Burgos Jr and Moises Orozco. Throughout the game against Hacken (after he got subbed on) I kept seeing #43 (Orozco) popping up all over making nice passes, and then he scored a beaut. I think he was one of the best players in that game.
Unless Vukovic is going to be in the plans as a contributor this season, it's probably best for his development that he doesn't sign. If he doesn't sign he can still play in all the MLS reserve league games, and he'll also be able to play regular games with the academy. If he signs a HGC the most he'll probably get is reserve games.
So basically: only sign him if there's plans on giving him lots of minutes. If not, don't sign him and let him get minutes with the academy
We might only be able to sign 3. Keep in mind that if we don't use spots 29 & 30 we get an additional 70k (35 / spot) of allocation $ and we don't know if we need it or not.

over half of those guys are worth DP contracts, and almost all of them would never want to play in the mls

Kurt Lawson tweeted that TFC plans to add a player or two in the summer window, so I would certainly expect to see a roster place or two left open.
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
