I'd like to see Winter play the back line for at least 60 mins, if indeed he sees this as the unit to play v LA.

The ironic thing is that Attakora and Cann were rock solid at CB. Sure Preki played a defensive system, but they rarely had blunders.

Griffen played 46 min in a 4 game period at San Jose.

What's with these constant long passes right when we hit the half line? Maybe I still have the man-city game in memory.

I can only say it so many times this pre-season, what did TFC do to add cover for Koev at CF this offseason? - Absolutely nothing

They just hoofed the ball out of defence straight back to the other team and we sustained wave after wave if attack because of it and eventually cracked.

We were also near the bottom on goals against that year, and Frei saved our asses more times than I can remember that year.

but back to the match - early preseason, and new team & league for the CB's. Don't be suprised if it takes them months to adapt (if they do). Sucks, but that might be th reality.

Don't get me wrong...aceval looks like a solid cb. He's got great speed and a hell of a left foot. His forward passing hasn't been to crisp yet though. Caicedo has some improvement to show that he's not a reincarnation of Iro.

Has their goalie had to make a save yet?

TFC tried to do some deals within the league, I'm sure they tried for a CF. They said they were trying for some trades.

MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

For some reason, Mick McCarthy is watching the game tonight, according to Luke Wileman. Maybe his kid needs somewhere to play too.

Soolsma is playing CF. There goes any chance of scoring off of running onto a through ball. Decent player but slow as molasses
