The Supplementary draft is the equivelent of the third and fourth round draft picks, where Toronto FC once picked up a young Ecuadorian winger by the name of Joao Plata.......
Evan James, who is listed as a forward but can also play midfield is originally from the GTA and the only Canadian left. It will be interesting to see if TFC pick him up.

Canadian Evan James goes 1st overall to Montreal.
Actually hasn't started yet but Montreal Impact have confirmed they're taking James first.

Pretty much a no brainer after the combine he had (2 goals and an assist playing on the wing and at right back), if he was American he would have gone in the 2nd round
Montreal needs at least one more Canadian to meet their quota. They only have Bernier and Sutton right now. If they sign James then that's it.

Bates was the US U-17 captain at the U-17 2007 World Cup in Korea
Surprised noone picking Yamada, thought he looked good at the combine.
TFC take Artur Ivo from SMU. Great pick for them.
Travis Clark:
Ivo could be a steal. He's an international though, don't know what TFC's status is with those.
Rapids take Kohei Yamata, great pick for them.

We selected 4 players last year, nothing came of it. Two went on to play for NASL teams.
Probably too old for the academy.
Rounds out the preseason training teams. Always a chance somebody could catch on but unlikely.
