You guys probably noticed before I did but I had a look at the new format for the MLS Draft and we have 2 picks in the first round, but no picks in the second round thanx to the trade for Dasan Robinson, for which we traded to the Chicago Fire our 2nd round pick and Dan Gargan.
After that we have nothing but Supplementay Draft picks. It seems like the only decent trade we made last season was a 1st round pick in the Supplementary draft that we got for Joseph Nane to the Colorado Rapids.
BTW, first two picks should be on a Target Man and a Central Defender. Just my two cents.
Has there been any news abotu Adrian Cann?
Will he be good to go? Has he been traded?
Is he part of Winters plan?
I really dont know a bloomin thing abotu him and his current situation.

wow 2016 and things are looking up --- come on you reds lets go
Is this info on Cann more recent than what is in this article (written Dec 16th)?

It says Cann should be ready either at the start of pre-season or close to it.
I would like to see the club come out and give a status as to how ticket sales are going (honestly). I am judging from the boards and I get a sense that the 100+200 levels are more or less sold out but I don't want it to be false hope....you know?
Dom.
^ I think there are still lots in the 100s. The $55 seem to have gone fast, but I could find rows of 10 available in the $35s and $45s. Think 200s are gone though as you say. Think there's still a long way to go.
This was posted on the Voyageurs forum,
"I talked to my ticket agent, they sold over 10,000 tickets today in the first day of pre-sale. Most of the $19 and all of the $55 tickets are sold."
According to the interview on "It's called football" last night, Cann has not signed a contract . When asked about the contract he became rather vague and said he thinks his agent has talked briefly with TFC about it, but nothing has been done.
As for his injury, he said he feels good about the progress, but will have to leave it up to the doctors. Evidently TFC has been footing alot of the bill for the rehab so I would expect they will want to resign him. He basically said he does not want to play anywhere else.
Evidently Gerry Dobson reported that Cann will not be ready for camp. Cann said he hasn't talked to Gerry in a long time, but would not refute the report either.
^ Thanks for that correction. Thought one of the TFC stories about Cann said he had re-signed.

“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

According to these articles written on Toronto FC's website. Both Adrian Cann and Dicoy Williams's options have been picked up for the 2012 season:

According to Soccer By Ives more than half of MLS teams are interested in acquiring ou #4 pick:
Picks 3 and 4 in the 2012 MLS Draft are in MAJOR demand. One TFC official told me more than half the teams in MLS have asked about pick #4

this.
fuck some people think that most of the ssh just sit around impatiently waiting in the off-season for TFC to come back (and that is ok to think). Truth is, there are probaby only a few thousand of us that actually waited for this day to arrive. The rest of the ssh and casuals will find out about the success of the 10-15k opening sales and will jump aboard to pick up our scraps. I think they've met expectations thus far especially considering the untapped general audience does not have a method of purchasing tickets.
