Well according to Ben Rycroft of Canadian Soccer News TFC corporate partner KIA has secured 6,900 500 level tickets. This is not surprising as I am sure more deals like this are being made to get tickets out into the market.

Kia just became the official car sponsor of the Montreal Impact. apparently they also have some deal with Vancouver too. They must be going all-out on soccer.

Not likely. BMO has seen such value-added by sponsoring soccer in Toronto that they have ramped things up nation-wide. Believe it or not, it's part of a strategy to reach the large immigrant population.

That's unless Rogers or Bell decide to sponsor their own team.

Usually these car companies give out free gifts if you decide to test out a vehicle. I see this kind of stuff posted on Redflagdeals all the time, and those people have no shame when it comes to free stuff.

Not suprised about KIA being involved, they are a major sponser for Euro 2012 and WC 2014.

A pair of 100's available this morning on ticketmaster. The supply seems to be adjusting somehow? I have no idea how this process works. I assume it somehow maximizes sales and profits.

KIA you gd twats, release some of your tickets!! I need 8!

This is the last time I wait for people to "get back to me" about tickets

Anyone else here having problems with buying tickets off ticketmaster? For the past 3 nights, I either get: "Tickets are not available online", or: "Our ticketing system is currently unavailable due to routine maintenance. Please check back at a later time."

You usually can't order anything in the early hours of the night. "Routine Maintenance" starts at like 1 or 2am and lasts till the morning.

Looks like more 200s have been released - ones they were holding back for Group Sales. They have them listed as $25 +S C price level. Just found 4 together in 2nd row of Sec/Aisle 240.

^ Awesome! Don't think there's any question it'll be a sell-out now. And those were bought before the Beckham news was official.

35000 eh? I think we can effectively say that the atmosphere in the Dome will be good. People always complain about the dome being cavernous and sterile, but I would argue that's only when you get less than that in it. Once you get 35000 and above, the atmosphere is perfectly fine. If it sells out completely, it will be rockin'!

Why so low? This will easily be a sell-out, with over a month to go.

We've now been handed a responsibility. We need to make the best of it!

Do the tickets that are offered through those office building deals count as sold? I'm only asking because it says the lower bowl is sold out but people mentioned that you can still get them through those services.

The day 1 sales worried me, but clearly those worries were unfounded. This is going to be EPIC! 35k seats BEFORE Becks. Awesome. Great for the club.

My dad bought 15 tickets. Can we print them out already or do we have to wait until a certain date before they are made available?

The objective is to generate some media buzz before the event. This only works if it's a "sellout". So it will "sell out".

They will give 1,000s of tickets to sponsors, if they need to.
