Anyone can buy tickets in the section set aside for the Galaxy supporters, howeve many may actually be coming, using this link you can get them for $17 each with no service charges etc. $17 is all you pay and they will email you the tickets or put them in your account manager. Just a thought for those still looking.

I think I'm going to openly hold my hands up and admit that I was totally wrong on this one! I thought TFC had NO chance of selling this game out, I just didn't see the amount of people being interested to fill 45k seats! I was very wrong apparently. (even if some sponsoring companies are giving away tickets). Well done TFC for pretty much selling Rogers Centre!

I got some tickets in 228, does anyone know if that will be a standing section or is it just the 100 level?

My college (Loyalist) is bringing down a few dozen that night. Section 243.

Truthfully it will be my first TFC game in Toronto. I've been to all three games in Montreal though.

Yeah I noticed that too. I just don't understand how Ticketmaster works. For weeks it said sold out and now there are tickets again.

It's possible that Kia, or another partner/sponsor, didn't use up all their allotted tickets, and they're now going back into the pool. Same thing for group sales.

Toronto FC announced that all the single seat tickets are sold out for the March 7th CCL game. Only suites are left. " In seven weeks, the team has sold a record setting 43,500 tickets"

Good job Toronto! Can't wait for this one

From the FO POV, this thing has two parts: a ground war, followed by an air war. The ground war is the part we're in now and ends a couple of weeks before the game. It's very important that this be "sold out" by then. Then the air war commences - TV ads and other marketing to build interest in watching at home based on the fact that it's "sold out", the requisite columnists writing the requisite "has soccer finally arrived" stories, and the like.

So will it be 45,000 if all the suites get filled? Is it even possible for the remaining suites to accommodate 1,500 people or have we pretty much reached capacity at 43,500? Either way, this is a HUGE milestone for our club!

Good to hear, but with capacity at 45k they're definitely blocking off some sections right? Are those going to be in the 200 level?

Lot fewer tickets on stubhub.ca than I expected for an attendance of this size.

A few more might start to appear now that it's been announced as a sell-out.

Any way someone is not going to the game or maybe you have 3 extra tickets lying around for whatever reason? I'm willing to pay between $20-$60 per ticket. Thanks.

This sell out figure is beginning to be a joke.. In the same config the NFL had 56,000+ fans at their games. Now take away the 3-4 thousand seats they ad total at the end of the end zones leaves you with about 52,000 seats. However, when tickets went on sale 2 months ago they said sell out was going to be 45,000. Obviously not a true sell out for whatever reason (maybe then centre not releasing those tickets ?? who knows) in that configuration. In late January TFC announced, due to demand, an extra 1,000 tickets bringing capacity to 46,000. Well now we hear the first sell out figure being 45,000 (not the 46,000). To add further confusion on what the sell out number is Gerry on Saturday announced the sell out figure to be at 43,500. This is an even lower figure for a sell out than previous numbers and it's at minimum about 8,000 less than what the SkyDome can handle for an event like this.
Love the marketing spin doctors at TFC lol

Not sure why the assumption of spin. Sounds just like confusion to me.

There isn't a pair available anywhere in the stadium on Ticketmaster. There are odd singles here and there. Generally this is considered a sell-out.

Not sure why it has to be over-analyzed to death.
