There had better be Supporters sections where we can up to the usual shenanigans as we do at BMO Field. I hope the security guys will be experienced at running a TFC-style event, otherwise I can see it being a frustrating night.
I'm sure the Exec will be on that tho.

They have all of January and February to market the fuck out of the game, and if they set the price low, and even give some tickets away to youth teams and such, then I think it's very possible that we can push above $40k. If they price the tickets high, and they don't market the game very well, then we'll see less than 20k. Either way we'll see a much, much bigger crowd than if the game had been played at BMO.

MLSE TO DO LIST:
1. Market the Fuck out of this thing!
2. Keep ticket costs low
3. Giveaway upper levels to every youth team in Ontario- fill it with kids and hot soccer moms.
4. Create supporter zones so we can chant united.

Also it is up to us as supporters to sell this thing too. I am planning on purchasing group tickets and hope to bring out as many friends, co-workers, relatives, and teammates as possible. The more the merrier!

Why didn't FO announce the venue and match tix well before Christmas.... wouldn't it have been opportune to get in as many tix as Xmas prezzies as possible? Are they waiting for a Galaxy signing? Waiting for the Beckham decision? The MLSE sale?

I just hope that this delay doesn't hurt ticket sales. They had better market the shit outta this match, not just for gate revenue but for future interest for the club. I'm hoping that the lack of media buzz to date is due to a coming genius sales campaign. End of day they HAVE to sell out the match otherwise they will spoil their best chance at publicity since the Real Madrid match. A full house gives credibility to the event. How many people would follow the WJHC if the stands were half full?

CONCACAF is not allowing CCL ticket sales until sometime in January. This is really stupid but is one thing that we can't blame MLSE for. Stocking stuffer tickets never was an option for TFC unfortunately. So it doesn't really matter that the announcement was delayed.
