Sportsnet: TFC makeover continues
Looking at the waiver list, and how TFC are slowly inching towards having a stable squad.
American Samoa, worst ranked FIFA team, scores first ever goal and wins for first time. They had first ever draw with Cooks Island the next game, and now need a win vs Samoa to advance to next round of WCQ Oceania. They are led by former MLS manager and US U20 coach Thomas Rongen

“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”
-Eduardo Galeano
That was fun to watch.
Gorgeous pitch. An Island nation of 55,000 what a joke for Rongen. That's like a U18 rep coach in Oakville.
