This is CONCACAF. The draw will be conducted behind closed doors by Jimmy Hoffa and Bigfoot.

No live stream. They used to post the draw on YouTube after announcing the results but now they don't even bother with that.
That's all I'll say about that.

IMHO CONCACAF wants an MLS team and a Mexican team in the final if they can arrange it.

If TFC draws Monterey or Santos Laguna that fits into the "CONCACAF does what it wants" narrative. If TFC draws Los Angeles then perhaps we can speculate that the fix actually was not in.

I was speaking with someone I know 'on the inside' and it seems to me like a TFC - Galaxy game is what everyone in MLS / MLSE / TFC FO want.

well, the mathematical odds are slightly better that we'll get a Mexican opponent, bgnewf. So I'm not sure that would be evidence of a "fix".

Not really, LA would draw a lot of Mexicans to the game, and a lot of Hispanic viewership in the States.

If they place Toronto against LA, then it could just be expecting the Star-studded first place team to eat TFC for breakfast. So the fix could still be in.

probably easiest way to try and confirm that would be to guarantee at least one mls club in semi finals, by having us play each other. I imagine we'd be considered an easy opath to the semid for the glamorous LA side.

whatever the draw, there'll be people who can take it as evidence of a fix. I guess we just have to trust them, only option really, (not that i do).

I love this summary MLS puts out on a regular basis about the goings-on in the league. Very interesting stuff:

    http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/articl...shield-and-cup

Seattle determined to make noise next year.

Ex-coach of the Rapids feels underappreciated.

Timbers coach might be looked at by Colorado.

NYRB might return without 2 of their 3 DPs.

    And more...

I'd be surprise if Rost returns to NY

Marquez is an unwanted player in NY. And good riddance
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

A Beckhamless Galaxy too, probably. He'll probably pay some EPL team to play with. Didn't he do that with Milan?

dont think he'd go back to EPL unless it was Man U and thats doubtful, he is wanted by PSG tho, question is whether he puts his family ahead of playing (second question is how much playing in europe would he actually get to do, PSG for instance have great depth and i dont know that at 36 he could contribute something they dont already have)
