wait.... does this pub have the same name as the K/W home pub? that's a strange coincidence... or a really bad bit of planning.

"let's go to the failte pub where the supporters meet"
    "okay... I'll book it now....."

I'm hoping Big Ecks makes it to the downtown Toronto pub crawl...

I'd like to have a beer with that kid...

I wanted to go to the pub crawl on Thursday the 27th but I'm working that night. The real kicker is that pub is in my district so I'll be right down the street.

If someone were to have a heart attack (or maybe just some difficulty breathing) and call 911, I would have a reason to bring my truck over. Maybe I'll just have to do an unscheduled fire inspection between 7 & 9 that night.

Failte Irish Pub in Mississauga is not connected to the K/W or any other Failte pub. I used to work there and people used to ask us if we were connected all the time. It's an independantly owned family pub that just celebrated it's 13th anniversary last weekend.

    Just to clarify.

I hope to see some of you there.

what happened to the pub crawl at the jackastors across from the scarborough town centre? i went to that one a few years back... seems like they are trying to cater to the GTA more instead of in the actual city.... which is fine.... but i remember the good old days when 3 out of 4 pub crawls where in the actual city.... i guess they had a deal with jackastors then because i remember they were all at jackastors....

not exactly a pub crawl, but apparently the first team will be at this event

    http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=213130072090460

I doubt that not more than 1 or 2 players will be at this considering most of the first team have gone home

Nothing in the west of the GTA?
O, Maple Leaf around the world, You speak as you rise high above,
Of courage, peace and quiet strength, Of the Canada that I love.
Remind us all, our union bound by ties we cannot sever,
Bright flag revered on every ground, The Maple Leaf forever

There was one at St James Gate Etobicoke last Thursday. The notice was up on the TFC website and they did a Movember thing with Jimmy and the guys there.

    Didn't get there myself.

Keep checking back with the site if you're interested in the upcoming dates but don't know who will be there. They update as players confirm.

That is a lot more pub crawls than in the past.

Looks like they realize they have a lot of work to do in getting their fans to return.

    Smart man....

I'm taking Wednesday, Thursday AND Friday off.

granted for other reasons, but Wednesday morning will be mostly laying around the house, waiting for the fog to clear.
