I imagine it went like this:

"Do you want a lot of money?"

    "Not much."

    "Your hired!"

FC Dallas linked to defenders Luis Moreno and Carlos Rodriguez of Tauro FC. Moreno impressed in the CCL games but he's already 30, Rodriguez is 21.

In news of who is NOT going anyplace, FC Dallas defender George John turned down multiple offers of training stints from teams in Europe, including one from Aston Villa, to "rest" during the offseason.

Double yew tee eff. Must think that scouts will keep him on the radar even after turning them down. Guess he'll learn this lesson the hard way.

Default Could Rio Ferdinand be joining our team in a little bit

I went to SoccerItalia and stumbled upon an article with both Iro and Ferdinand looking at the possibility of either joining the Fire or TFC

Good find. Ferdinand would certainly shore up TFC's defense. If that were the case, I would expect JDG to be leaving.

I would LOVE to see Ferdinand in TFC red, but he would surely command a DP salary, and we currently have no DP slots to spare.

We need to re-sign Deguz to a non DP contract.

Yes, but his current contract expires at the end of next season. TFC cannot sign another DP until the 2012-2013 off season.

4 players at 335k per isn't a good way to build your team

Chivas USA Pick up Ryan Smith from Sporting KC.

He's quite a player on his day, arsenal youth product.

Bobby Convey's option was not picked up by San Jose, maybe he could be a fairly good bench player

lol. convey would replace Plata at LW. he didn't resign with SJ due to high salary (300k IIRC) and he can't get along with Yallop

    Only 3 ways this happens:

    1) We buy out JDG

    2) We find someone to loan JDG to ( is this even a way to get a DP off the books?)

    3) We have enough allocation $ to buy down his salary
