Not sure why the Sun wouldn't put a picture from the game on the website. Danny K is wearing home colours during a day game in the picture. Pretty sloppy.

Great quote from Hyndman in this TSN article...

"If they had had that performance the whole season they wouldn't be finishing the season up this weekend," Dallas head coach Schellas Hyndman said. "I thought they came to play. I thought they played unselfishly, they bought into the system, they were physical, they did everything they needed to do to absolutely kick our ass."

Koevermans scored, I was looking for the offside.

Plata scored. I started to believe.

Plata x 2, well thats just sealed his foot print with TFC for next season. He's our version of Maximiliano Moralez. Just great balance for a little player and good technique on the ball.

It was a great game all around, including Harden, he played his best game. Henry didn't play so far forward like Eckersley and I think that made a huge difference. Henry and Morgan both started in a huge game and played great.

I think it was the solid defense that really allowed the team to maintain possesion. The midfield generals in DeGuzman and Frings were playing great together. DeGuzman was taken off because he was too fired up, which is good to see. Koevermans was great. Soolsma was damn good. There's absolutely nothing wrong with last night's game, and I think I can compare it to Real Madrid's loss to Lyon a few years ago and Inter Milan's triumph versus Barcelona, this game was an all out effort from a team with less technically gifted players. They literally fought harder than Dallas FC.

    Fuckin eh!

It's funny how you know exactly when Winter is being quoted. As long as they quote him word for word, with the words he uses and how he pieces together sentences, it's so obvious that it's him that was being quoted.

    IT'S A GREAT MORNING!!!!

What a massive game by the whole team. Ty Harden stood out in my mind, played the game of his life out there last night.

I think there were more TFC jerseys in Dallas than there were at Real Sports last night (judging by the shots they showed during the broadcast).

I kinda hope we can draw (as in selected to play not draw as in tie) Santos. I kinda want to beat them because montreal couldn't. Get some Canadian pay back and bragging rights over montreal.

I made the mistake of going to RS. First time I've been there. Wow, it's waayyyyy over the top. Felt like I was in Las Vegas. In fairness though, there were a LOT of TFC shirts, a few tables got chants going (including Dichio, who was there somewhere I think), and generally not a bad atmospherere. I'll take the small pub over that monstrosity any day though.

Victory is always that much sweeter when you have been less than successful in the past. It felt like we won the bloody CCL to me last night. Imagine if we ever did. Baby steps I guess but wow what a game.

And that doesn't differentiate the TFC fans in attendance.

Hey, hope Turo at least ties Pumas then.. we stand half a chance of making it out of the quarters... if Pumas wins then we have to hope for Santos who seem to have been the weekest link of the Mexican sides.

We have a chance to get to the Semi's Particularly if this team keeps working hard.

Great thing is the next game happens next year, when we'll have had a chance to really shore up the holes for next season's first ever playoff run....

I noticed a few people missing the third *Clap* in the *Clap* *Clap* *Clap* TFC chant.

At one point during the broadcast I distinctly heard a woman's voice with a Texas accent yell out "Come on FC Dallas!"

When you can hear individual people in the crowd, you know it ain't good.

Looks as if they were being very generous with the attendance figures. Hang your heads in shame, Dallas.

    Do I have this right?

If Tauro win, then TFC and Tauro FC go through, with TFC topping the group.

If Tauro Draw, then TFC and Pumas UNAM go through, with TFC topping the group.

If Tauro lose, then TFC and Pumas UNAM go through, with Pumas topping the group.

Of courage, peace and quiet strength, Of the Canada that I love.

    Good article.

I really hope that with this incredible win we can get beyond the debate about whether Winter is a good coach and recognize he's moved this team forward.
