ya but a defender who can make a pass is not the first thing I look for in a defender...

He has that arrogance/cockiness in his passing/first touch that matches Luis Silva's and Ashtone Morgan's.

But in the system that Toronto is attempting to play it is very important.

I'm not disagreeing. but then again in modern football, seems like every player needs to be able to pass a little

based on the clip he looks very comfortable with the ball, seems to be left footed but uses his right with quality I wonder if he could be used on the right or will be exclusively used on the left.

Interestingly Emory is clearly VERY left footed, according to these highlights - he doesn't kick the ball with his right foot once all video! That doesn't seem to fit if he's been signed as a right CB?

Hearing that Ashtone Morgan's going to the U23 Olympics, not the camp.
If so, we need cover on the left as well

is left footed but based on his right footed ability can be classified as dual footed.

Sucks, he'll miss two league games (and possibly two CCL games!).

Signing Huezo would be nice. Or maybe Aceval can play LB for a little bit if Cann's ready to come back.

I agree! Cann doesnt fit the current system and style of play as well as Aceval especially in the 3man backline.

I'm also curious why he wasn't drafted by anyone. Defenders who can pass usually gets noticed by scouts. Could be that the scouts missed him, or he's a late bloomer

I wonder if we will see Amory on the pitch at some point soon, I am guessing that Harden will be in the line for the CCL and perhaps Seattle with Winter not wanting to rock the boat. The back line is a question mark in relation the the rest of the team.

he will get mins, likely Voyageurs Cup?

I hope Winter learns the lesson of FC Dallas last year. You gotta have good squad rotation to keep guys fresh with so many games

The commentator at Disney mentioned this, said he actually ditched Orlando to trial with us and surely burnt some bridges there.

Ha ha, Orlando might re-think the Micky Mouse tournament if their prospective players get poached, what are the guests doing to the hosts these days...

Now that the season has started, we'll continue in the in-season transfer thread.
