I guess "There goes our season" was a slight exaggeration, but it's going to be extremely tough now

the Key TFC players better not be on the flight to Cali. Need to go all out vs a hopefully tired Pumas side on Tuesday

Again the right winger he's either really good or that defender is terrible....

Next tues is going to suck. ugh. Pumas torn apart a rather good Dallas defence. Imagine what their first team would do to TFC

    Dallas 7pts
    Pumas 7pts
    Toronto 6pts

Everyone has 2 games left. We control our own path. We're far from done. Suck it up downers!!!

Dallas still has a tough game in Panama, could hope for a draw there leaving Dallas with only 8 pts (and TFC with 9pts winning vs FCD)

Best case scenario... we field our b team on Saturday and A team on Tuesday for the win!

Then we do the same for Dallas.

Well that's that then. 2-0 Pumas final. Worst possible outcome. TFC need maximum points from next two games or some help from Tauro again. So much for the knockout stages.

Pumas outplayed Dallas in the second half though. They deserved to win.

Problem is FCD and Pumas have games vs Tauro, which is almost a guaranteed 3pts, especially Pumas at home vs Tauro, can hope for Dallas tying in Panama.

I think we can still do this. Come on boys, get your heads up and realise we're only a point off the top!

It's a tall order but so what? With a grinding performance like last night we might not be pretty, but we may be able to get some results

No doubt, I wasn't serious, it will be a better prepared team this Tuesday.

Wow, just checked the DC-Chivas recap. 2-2 final. DeRo scored a goal but missed a stoppage time penalty to give his team the win. JPA with the brace.

    Either:

We need to win both games to top Pumas.

Or we need to at least draw pumas AND beat Dallas away to nick them now
That's all I'll say about that.

If we can't beat Pumas at home, or an MLS rival on the road, we won't fare well deeper in the tournament anyways. Win both games and we're in first place. Period.

True. Both teams destroyed Tauro and got the almost guaranteed 3 points when they played the first time.

There wasn't any 'destroying' of Tauro by Dallas and Pumas. both teams drew vs Tauro

    LA vs Alajuelense

Tauro has nothing to play for but pride.

No, TFC needs a minimum win and a draw to go through.

Wow Dallas looked very organized defensively. Aside from the late goal, they looked like they had Pumas in check. Sure Pumas had more of the game in the second half, but its not like it was chance after chance for the Mexicans.

Dallas played composed, good ball movement. Pumas were quick.

Refs got the game spot on. Good match.... aside from the real shitty outcome.
