TORONTO FC, 2017 MLS CHAMPIONS!!! (Still the greatest in league history!)
There are pros and cons to the next round for Canada.
If Canada comes to play we should be able to compete with Panama and Honduras for the top spot in the group.
The con is that in the USA group Canada would have a better shot at beating out Jamaica for the 2nd spot (though I don't want to go through the heartbreak of '08 v the Reggae Boys again).

Although I may be one of the original TFC bloggers, I have not linked or promoted or participated in forums much this year. I might have lost my blogging mojo a little over the summer...
However, if I am about to launch a comeback, I suppose this is now where I post my link. I like the idea of having a designated thread, I felt a little funny about linking willy -nilly.

Best of the Worst: Who are the useable or tradeable options out there for Montreal among the league's dregs?
from Red Nation.
really good article based around a JDG interview on how things have changed at tfc since winter and co came along.
“I definitely felt a big difference with the Dallas game compared to the 2009 loss in New York. You could definitely feel how much this club has changed in terms of professionalism and also the culture of football. I think that is very important to note. You walk into the dressing room now and you just feel football right away. In previous years, I'm sure you walked into the changing room and it was kind of half football and half other things from your private life. So we are definitely on the right track in terms of what this is becoming and you can see it in the results. Not just on the pitch but also when you see young guys like Ashtone Morgan and Matt Stinson getting called up to the National Team. It shows that there have been a lot of changes towards what this can really become in the future.”
