TFC Snatch a Point in Boston
http://viewfromthesouthstands.com/tfc-snatch-a-point-in-boston/
Five games. Five Points. Five Goals Scored. Five Goals Conceded.
With three games remaining in the road trip before BMO Field opens for business Toronto FC finds itself for once on the better end of blown referee calls. In this post game video blog I take a look back at the refeering decisions, the use of the 4-4-2 and I heap praise upon my Man of the Match – Clint Irwin.

^ I'd rather gripe about how they win than how they lost. ^_^
Pressure? What Pressure?

TFC has secured their apparent goal of eight points six games into their eight game road trip to start the 2016 MLS campaign. On this post game video blog I take a look at the game Saturday in DC, I try and put the exemplary defensive performances we have seen so far in 2016 from TFC into some sort of league wide context and I take a look at the critical derby match away this coming week in Montreal.

Although this blog is by an ex-Whitecaps fan it makes interesting reading.
"I was exhausted from battling my own club. I was dismayed by this shift towards consumerism and was weary of being continually exploited for money."

Hey guys, just want to say a big thanks for all of your support with our podcast so far. We've had great information sent to us from members of this forum.
We've had great fan guests too, and some club legends Jimmy Brennan & Steve Caldwell, next episode we are joined by Clint Irwin!
Also, flight tickets have been booked and we'll be there for the final home game of the season. If anyone on here is travelling away this weekend then have a safe trip, and come back with those points

For Whom The Bell Does NOT Toll
http://viewfromthesouthstands.com/fo...does-not-toll/
Time for some early season rejoicing as Tim comes to terms with the fact that Toronto FC is currently the BEST defending club in all of MLS. We also look at the Derby result, hand out a bravery award to Greg Vanney, take a look ahead to Portland (14 pts anyone?) and we weigh in again on BMO Field security measures.

The Long Journey Ends
http://viewfromthesouthstands.com/th...-journey-ends/
Toronto FC heads home to re-christen BMO Field this week after a marathon eight game road sojourn.
In this (slightly delayed) post game video blog I take a look at the Portland result, the road trip as a whole and setup the match this weekend against FC Dallas.

Raising The Roof
http://viewfromthesouthstands.com/raising-the-roof/
Toronto FC finally kicked off the home portion of their 2016 campaign with a solid 1-0 victory Saturday vs FC Dallas.
In this post game video blog I take a look at the roof and how it impacts the game day experience in the South end of BMO Field, I take a another look at the continuing defensive solidity the Reds are showing (this time against one of the better offensive clubs in MLS in FC Dallas), I anoint Jozy Altidore as my Man of The Match & I end off with celebratory video from the stands.
Nice photos from the home opener:

MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
