MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
YES !
a ha ha heh he hoo.. ha
These ESSUs just get better and better, I love this salary cap one!
OT - will you be compiling all Blogs/links into the OP ?
a ha ha heh he hoo.. ha
Ugh...sorry but this combining everything into one thread is an awful idea. I might just do what Parky did and bookmark it instead.
As for the latest ESSU!
BWUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!![]()
I think it cleans up the boards a ton. This way (hopefully) there won't be such a proliferance of threads created for the sole purpose of drawing the reader to someone's blog.
You know, threads like this :
Title - CONCACAF is all screwed up
OP - read what I have to say about it here (link to my blog).

there are pros and cons to each method. Many boards choose to do what we've done here. Blogging tends to be more analysis-oriented than news-oriented so it deserves its own spot. Anyways, please lets limit discussion to what the bloggers are writing, and place Board Suggestions in the appropriate area.

The bloggers have been asked to post their links here directly.

Thanks for doing this. I think its an excellent idea.
The NEE have been doing this for a long time for me on their board and I for one really like that it keeps everything tidy and in one place.
By the way I came across this excellent blog post today that is in defense of Mo Johnston and his tenure with Toronto FC. I am not a huge Mo fan by any means but that does not take away from what I think is an excellent read and a well reasoned argument.

That MoJo defense sure was interesting but hard to read due to a selective use of facts.
How many times did Mo lie to us? To DeRo? How many times did his "scouting trips to Brazil" and his unnamed great players that somehow never signed happen? Far too often, I'm afraid.
ML$E's greatest error (besides ripping off the fans) was keeping MoJo on when it became evident that he couldn't do the job.

alright, new home, smells nice.
anyway, I knwo you're all just dying to read another report on last night's game, so here it is, a fitting tribute to Mo Johnston. their goalie made the early saves, ours didn't, the defence was awful, the offside trap inept, and we're lucky it was only 4.
Kyle davies, is he any good. Opinion from La blogger here
TFC Get A Reality Check at Pumas
http://viewfromthesouthstands.com/20...reality-check/
In this post game video blog after TFC's back down to earth loss in Mexico City vs Pumas in the CONCACAF Champions League I make the argument that the loss was an unlucky loss (not disappointing or for that matter embarrassing) based much on the timing of the fixture.
I take a brief look ahead at the speed bump for the Reds on Saturday versus Colorado and what TFC needs to do when they return to Champions League play next week against Tauro. And finally I urge the TFC coaching staff to start fining (if they are allowed to do so) or benching defenders who stop running and put up their arms up for offsides instead of running the plays out and letting the officials do their jobs, which happened time after time Wednesday evening in Mexico City.
what I like here is the discussions/comments can take place on your blogs (better for you). I was never sure what the protocol was - post here or there - so did neither.

Go Young and Go Cheap
http://viewfromthesouthstands.com/20...-and-go-cheap/
I explain why I like the trade between LA and TFC that sees TFC go younger and cheaper with the acquisition of Kyle Davies and Elbekay Bouchiba nears his long awaited debut for TFC after a season long injury.
meaningless mls game after a tough trip to mexico, and with a crucial game on tuesday. but season ticket renewals coming up. what to do, what to do? Will we see a B team?
Koevermans And The Capos
http://viewfromthesouthstands.com/20...and-the-capos/
In this post game video blog I take a look back at Saturday’s game that saw Toronto FC, on a brace from Danny Koevermans and a somewhat less brittle than normal defensive effort overall, beat the Colorado Rapids at home 2-1. I also take some other TFC supporters to task who chose Saturday to criticize us in the supporters section for what was by our standards a less than enthusiastic start to our chanting and cheering efforts. And finally I throw some huge praise towards those TFC Fans that choose to give up their game as paying customers to work hard on getting everybody else cheering loudly for the team.
Good result on the pitch, christmas future in the stands.
who knows what caused it, but yesterday's first half was a great reminder of why football needs supporters groups. on the pitch, good for danny, he's the anti chad barrrett, and we've now got 10 points in our last 5 games, not too shabby at all.
