NEWS FLASH: T-Bird and I are getting Married!
YNWA
NOTICE: Wager with STB: OVER 2 shots on goal in the First half wins a Pint at HT.
"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports

Dutch top rankings without kicking ball - FourFourTwo
Although their friendly against England was cancelled because of the London riots, Netherlands benefitted as previous leaders Spain were beaten by Italy to lose their place at the top.

"no, not right now, when you're older... would you like to be a doctor, a lawyer... something like that ?"
"oh", *giggle* "I dunno...."
"maybe you'd like to be a fashion designer, a hair stylist, or own an international business ?"
"um, what was that last one again ?"
"own an international business ?"

Wow, that TFC Horoscope gave me a boost in confidence for tonight, as the stars and the rest of the universe may finally be on Toronto's side

" Iro easing into lead role with TFC"....Apprently this is not a spoof piece....
This story brings me a little hope about Iro. It's nice to see he realizes he's been crap in games, but that he's willing to do the work and buy into the system. Attitude wise I've liked him since he joined TFC (what can I say, his 'real city' comments about Columbus was enough for me to like the guy) and would love for him to work out for us.
TFC in top of the table clash
Not often we can say that.
Also, very late, but here's my report on the chicago game, formation problems, and the gargangster.
alot of people rang on Iro but realisitically hes been on his bench at columbus, so he hasnt been match fit coupled with the fact hes playing on a new team with a new system. im not sayign dudes our savior by any means but i dont htink we've seen his best yet and im not ready to throw him out
Some good quotes from Winter at practice yesterday leading into tonight's clash
Winter: FC Dallas should see a different TFC
As well on the same line an interview with Marosevic
Inside the MLS: Peri Marosevic
mornin workie
congrats giles and theresa
wow 2016 and things are looking up --- come on you reds lets go
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Not sure if this TFC - Dallas preview has been posted....
http://tfcpics.com/articles/44-previ...dallas-preview
- Aron Winter will be in charge of his 35th match this season (27 MLS, 4 NCC, 3 CCL so far) and believe it or not, this will be the most number of matches of any TFC manager in a single season !! (previous high = 34 by Carver in 2008).
- Assuming he is still in charge ... by the time we reach the Tauro match on 20th September, Winter will equal the highest total of matches managed by any TFC manager (John Carver 40 - 34 in 2008, 6 in 2009) and will be on target for 46 by the end of the season (more if we do well in CCL).
Explains a lot about this team to me!!
Congrats Techno. And thanks again for the ticket in 111 for the match against Salt Lake. Had a blast and TFC won.
Victory against Dallas tonight! (i hope)
TORONTO FC, 2017 MLS CHAMPIONS!!! (Still the greatest in league history!)
"...Money wasn't tight, but it like, it wasn't right..."
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
hard to take out an in form keeper... it'd do no good for his confidence
