    Wow. Thats is great news.

    Please don't have children, Techno.
"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports

Dutch top rankings without kicking ball - FourFourTwo

Although their friendly against England was cancelled because of the London riots, Netherlands benefitted as previous leaders Spain were beaten by Italy to lose their place at the top.

SSG - I wonder how those interviews go...

"so, Connie, what are your aspirations ?"
*giggle* "um, what ?" *twirls hair*
"Your aspirations... your dreams... what would you like to do ?"
"what ? you mean like, right now ?"
"no, not right now, when you're older... would you like to be a doctor, a lawyer... something like that ?"
    "oh", *giggle* "I dunno...."
"maybe you'd like to be a fashion designer, a hair stylist, or own an international business ?"
"um, what was that last one again ?"
    "own an international business ?"
"um, yeah, that one... that's what I want to do" *blows bubble*

Not sure if this TFC - Dallas preview has been posted....

    http://tfcpics.com/articles/44-previ...dallas-preview

    • Aron Winter will be in charge of his 35th match this season (27 MLS, 4 NCC, 3 CCL so far) and believe it or not, this will be the most number of matches of any TFC manager in a single season !! (previous high = 34 by Carver in 2008).
    • Assuming he is still in charge ... by the time we reach the Tauro match on 20th September, Winter will equal the highest total of matches managed by any TFC manager (John Carver 40 - 34 in 2008, 6 in 2009) and will be on target for 46 by the end of the season (more if we do well in CCL).

Explains a lot about this team to me!!

I'd start Kocic, he's on a roll and Frei is still a little sore.
I'd ease Frei back in with one of our meaningless league games.

hard to take out an in form keeper... it'd do no good for his confidence
