Top of the day to you
I really hope Morgan develops at his position, TFC and Canada needs someone at that position. I was not impressed with anyone Canada has there and its been a revolving door of mung for TFC. Good for him. I dont get why Stinson gets so much playing time. Henry could be good, but he is very very raw.
It's the weekly round up and lucky for everyone here it's heavily TFC-focused - Champion's League win and prospects, the draw with DC focusing on not just Andy Iro, but De Guzman as well and some thoughts on the options of youth player development in Canada.

Sorry should also add for anyone interested - a quick one on Torsten Frings thoughts on things so far
FRINGS: Much improved but still a work in progress

SSG - I totally misread two of the words in her BIO : sultry and photography.
a ha ha heh he hoo.. ha
I am hoping that as well....for TFC's sake and Canada's as well. Morgan seems pretty raw still, but I like the way he is developing. As for Stinson. Not sure why Winter has a hard-on for him as well, but I like him coming into games. He likes to mix it up and seems to be getting more confident with each game. He seems like a Dunfield type of playing. willing to get his nose dirty.

yeah i guess he sees something in Stinson, he hasnt been bad but he hasnt been noticibly incredible either
Exactly.......no one here has any complaints about him. A good defensive midfielder flies under the radar when he is playing decently. I really can't think of any instances where he has been in a match where I have had anything bad to say. He gets his role in the system and seems to be excelling.
I assume he is being groomed to be the first option off the bench when either one of Frings, Dunfield or JDG need a rest.

charlie davies plays for the reserve team???
did he get injured again???
Interesting to see all these academy guys getting time in games. I would have thought to have seen Omphroy more by this time when it comes to the draft picks. Even Matt Gold has seen more action than Omphroy. Maybe there is some sort of underlying issue or he is not cutting it in training.
Nothing that I have seen suggests that, but pure speculation. We do have an abundance of players along the wings and isn't he a natural RB? I don't see him displacing Ecks.
In the few stints I have seen/read about him in the reserve league... TFC seem to be testing him out at various positions. I remember they had him play striker for a match and he scored twice....but who knows what's the deal really anyway...certainly not me.

Here is an interesting graph, it shows the possible range of point totals for all teams in the league:

If you believe the author, we were eliminated from winning the supporters shield last weekend. Shocker.
sportsclubstats shows the same thing.
Even if we 9-0-0 down the stretch, we'd most likely finish 4th or 6th in the east.

anyone else notice we have the name number of points that we did at this time in 2007. Though with 2 fewer wins?
