I am not saying I am judging him on the three goals alone....just using it as an example as everyone is rattling off three goals as monstrous...which it is. Just offering the counter point as to whether or not if 3 goals were tap ins, does that make it a montrous hattrick......just offering the other side. As I will state again....i LOVE DERO....

    Run?

Do they have a box of donuts at that end of the pitch? I'll get there faster than Wynne.

wow. The thread has derailed into arguing about the merits of Dero's goals.

This is what not being able to WIN does to you.

Why are we people knocking Marosevic, LOL? The poor kid was acquired by management without giving up any assets, and he scores 2 goals in his first 2 league games, as a late game sub. He was in the right place at the right time, just like DeRo.

I don't think Marosevic has been invisible at all. He moves well into space and has distributed the ball effectively under pressure. BTW, he also set up Johnson's winning goal against Real Esteli. Personally, I think 2 goals and 1 assist in his first 3 matches is an excellent start.

Did DeRo not score said goals during this match........still post game chatter. The gravy train is still intact.

Not that at all. I don't know enough about the kid to have an opinion either way. But that goal was as much a sitter as I have ever seen. My 6 month baby boy could have scored it. It's comment about the goal not the player.

Oh, and yes, I admitted I was biased in JDG's goal assessment long before this post...so I have no idea what you are going on about.
I did challenge your opinion, and you turned it several posts of you didn't even watch the whole game etc. etc. I simply pointed out that his 3 goals were nothing special, that's my opinion. I gave you the benefit of the doubt before watching the game in it's entirety and he did nothing to substantiate your claim that he dominated the game or caused all this havoc. He had his moments sure but not to the degree that you claim. I am not the only one to disagree with you on that. The point is he got 3 goals, that's what good goals scorers do, 2 of which were gifts and the third an error on the goalkeepers fault. If you look at the game minus the 3 goals he played ok but not great.

Oh by the way, anyone else think IRO got a piece on that DK goal.

I thought I saw somewhere that they gave Iro credit for the goal. Maybe they change it back. I am pretty sure he got his foot on it.

I looked at it here at work, and the ball definitely changes direction a little - but it could either be Iro or their stiff of a keeper...

Since its not 100% definitive (from the looks we have) it may stay as DK's goal...

Either way - its in the net, that's what matters!

No...what matters is that gem of a comment you made about JDG. I have the screen print posted at my desk...tacked on my wall. I may take it down to the printer downstairs and get it enlarged.

One last thing on the game, what's up with the attendance in DC. They had 11,000 and change for the game the other night? When TFC came in to the league I thought DC had great fans and attendance, what happened to them considering they are in a playoff fight, and aren't playing to badly.

-- I have a flu and the fever
-- I walked out of the house this morning, dropped my keys, instantly broke both remotes and was locked out of my car, which has no manual locks.
-- I got to work and realized that, flu or not, I have 40 extra pages of layout, design and editing over the next 10 days.

The fight between the team and the city to have a real stadium has been going back and forth for years and it's taken it's toll on the fanbase.

What kind of wanker goes to the office knowing full well they have a flu and fever?

I'm really tired of people showing up in my workplace when they shouldn't be there ... simply because they don't want to look like they are not working. Go home!
