I didn't buy tickets to the CCL game this time - as a 5 year STH of 6 seats (4 in the East), I was upset with them charging so much for this game. I was hoping for a goodwill gesture of giving the tickets to the STH or a deep discount.
Now, I can't watch the game on TV - this is how you alienate your fans.

I think Dalllas had $5 tickets for their qualifier. may have been a limited time only thing, but still, making an effort.
and setanta, just ridiculous, how many regional channels does sportsnet have? as well as sportsnet one. you saying they couldn't have put it on one of them?
TFC is saying it wasn't up to them, it was Rogers Sportsnet that made the decision to move it to Setanta.
i wasn't going to be able to watch this game anyway don't get any of the channels in the states that show tfc and since this won't be on mls live so i doubt that i would be able to find a stream so i was just planning on not seeing this anyway..
If Rogers didn't want to carry the game, why could it not have been put on GOL?

I am getting bombarded with TFC management on facebook and twitter saying its not their fault....blame sportsnet.
Sportsnet has 5 channels - 1 is showing the Jays game - 4 is showing UFC - if they make 1 show (Sportsnet Ontario) the CCL game, would that hurt? I think it was TFC who said put it on Setanta.

wow....fucking WOW!! The one day in many that I have no schedule and will be able to watch the game and I can't. This team...the whole franchise in general never ceases to amaze me. Sportsnet shows loads of Whitecaps games but no TFC games except for the Canadian Championships. My guess would be that Sportsnet wanted to televise some TFC games this year but MLSE said they wanted the majority of the games on GoLTV. Sportsnet said fine...fuck you then we will only televise the NCC and if Vancouver wins we will show the CCL, if TFC win we will bury it over on Setanta. They sure showed MLSE.

yeah, checking back, the $5 thing was just a 24 hour deal a few days ago. $15 regular pricing for anywhere in the stadium is a pretty good deal anyway.
Chalk it up to a bunch of wankers with their ticket-price strategies...don't want to undervalue the price points (Jays use similar strategies to equally dismal attendance results).

Hey FO - GIVE something back once in awhile. Doesn't necessarily have to fit into some twerps projections for profit maximization. Just do SOMETHING, ANYTHING without it being some greedy screw-up.
